A aimé Easy to book, toilets on site, also showers but we didn’t use. Drinking water available, hire of fire pits and fuel cash only. We were 2 families in 2 tents busy day but found a nice spot lovely view of the Roaches

A aimé Open space and site and the location - fantastic pub 1 mile away called the lazy trout - food excellent . Great water place and play area down the road .

A aimé Good location for Rock climbing at the Roaches
Good views of the rocks.
Onsite pizza van (at the weekend at least).
Clean toilets facilities with lots of loo roll. Toilet/shower facilities seemed insufficient for the amount of campers on a busy weekend but surprisingly I never had to wait.
Hot showers (£1 for 5mins)
Washing up sinks (but no hot water)
Large site with multiple camping fields.

A aimé Amazing location with views of the Roaches from our pitch.
Basic amenities in good, mostly clean working order with very little queuing.
Fairly quiet after 10pm.
Family friendly.
Good to have the pizza van there on Friday and Saturday with refreshments available although not the best pizzas.
Campsite owners were friendly and helpful when making their round to deliver fire pits and wood.
We had a nice, level pitch at the top of the second field. This is probably the furthest point from the toilet facilities and was around a 3 minute walk away.

N'a pas aimé Not the fault of the campsite but there are a LOT of wasps so difficult to prepare food and eat in peace especially with kids. It’s definitely worth bringing a trap or making one.
The pizza from Piper’s Pizza van isn’t the best - we had to wait around 45 minutes for our order and there were only a handful of people waiting before us. Pizza base was undercooked and sizing of the multiple pizzas ordered varied between around 7-10 inches. One pizza came without additional topping that was paid for - when we returned it and explained this the staff were amenable and offered to make the correct order. We sat and waited for it and when the owner brought it over he charged us again! This was not explained to us when the staff offered to make a replacement with the toppings ordered.
We had spent around £70 there.
There is some road noise but nothing too bothersome.
The toilets could have done with an extra clean during the afternoon as it was really busy.

A aimé The views, the camp fires, the option to have a pizza at the weekend, the local pub. We had a great time!

A aimé Location and views of the Roaches, the size of campsite meant you didn’t feel too close to everyone in all directions, with freedom to pitch where you like. Food was available on site Friday night to Sunday morning if wanted. Showers were available on a £1 meter which kept things moving.

N'a pas aimé If you want a firepit, it must be hired and logs bought on site.
Mould and smell in showers could be improved.

A aimé Great location, with pub in walking distance! Pizza van on site which was great. Staff were really friendly, came around regularly to offer fire pits and wood and even take the ash away too! Tip - to get a pitch on the edge with the view of the Roaches, get there early!

A aimé We stayed in the second field, and the view of the roaches was beautiful.
More than enough space to pitch up as groups too.
