A aimé lovely site we stay in adults only part , bar and restaurant lovely , food nice , bus route outside, coastal walk is a long walk , would definitely stay again

A aimé lovely site, very friendly, bus stop outside, beach in walking distance 10 mins , lovely bar and food couldn’t fault anything , clean toilets

N'a pas aimé only thing was where we was it’s a long walk to empty toliet spoke to owner and he is aware and is trying to sort something out, other is push button shower but that’s just me ,

A aimé like site very friendly, quiet peaceful, nice walk though woods to pub , toliet clean

N'a pas aimé only one thing not much room in shower to dry and dress but that’s just my opinion

A aimé nice and quiet site lovely owners clean toilets ,

N'a pas aimé it’s a bit out the way so if you like pubs it’s about 2 miles to nearest town hay on wye it’s not a bad walk , this is nothing to do with site but there was someone there that had 2 dogs and they was off the lead all the time lucky we didn’t sit out side as it would upset my dog as he is always on the lead

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi Karen Thank you for your review. We are advertised as being 2 miles outside of Hay On Wye and pride ourselves on being a quiet park which is hidden away. We do have a dogs on leads at all times rule and if you had of brought this to our attention whilst here we would of rectified this situation. Matt, Yvonne & The Team

N'a pas aimé wasn’t really a campsite a lot of money for what it is nothing to do there is a pub bit don’t use it paid for 2 nights but only stayed for one night

N'a pas aimé noise from traffic, tbh the owner ok but when he had friends round he was sat in he’s garden all you could hear was him laughing very loudly making more noise than anyone else on site even though there was only 2 other campers there still not good when you just want peace

Réponse du gestionnaire : Wow and when you was leaving you said you had a lovely time and thanked me, so this is a turn up lets address your complaints one by one, "The owner OK" thanks a positive the only other thing is you heard me laugh, well sorry about that in my garden at about 7pm entertaining nice people, two of them caravaners, so glad you wasn't invited just image how much fun that would have been!!!!! and on another note, if your ever passing - keep going.

A aimé lovely pitch by the river friendly owner , he has a little bar which he will open couple of pubs in walking distance and bus route to town nice shower blocks

A aimé big spaces peaceful, friendly staff, lovely cafe , walks to the nearest village couple of lovely pubs

N'a pas aimé we were only ones there so didn’t stay for the whole time as it’s abit creepy , owner didn’t come to see if we needed anything or introduced himself ( which i think is wrong ) outside toliet block there is long grass which had mice and rats , no walks anywhere as we wasn’t told how to get to the trail

A aimé owner very accommodating lent me a kettle pitch ok pub in walking distance but it was very muddy , quiet at night time

A aimé lovely site we stayed on a touring pitch with a picnic table ( good ideal) lots of space, friendly staff we was given a map and pictures of the walks they do take longer than it says or we are just slow walkers , clean toilets and showers which are together which i refer music playing which was relaxing, can’t fault anything

However having read your other reviews for other campsites I must admit to being quite pleased with a 4/10. As you would have noticed my farmhouse is currently being re rendered and as such the sign for reception has been temporarily taken down. Apologies if it was unclear as to where reception therefore was. I cannot understand how you have given me a 2/10 for accomodation as you were indeed staying in your own motorhome? I hope your other locations suit you better and I shall continue to strive to maintain my high review rating. Regards Katie
