A aimé Quiet site with spotless facilities and water, disposal etc easily accessible. Fairly priced.

N'a pas aimé It's very nearly a ten. But the 20 pence for shower is a major nuisance for such a trivial amount. Firstly, in this cashless society, it was hard to find the coins. Secondly the twenty pence doesn't buy long enough so I had to come out of the shower with shampoo in my eyes and trek naked across an unlockable space to put another 20p in. Would much rather pay an extra £1 per night and include the shower. Also, the disabled toilets has no bin. Very difficult if you have hidden disabilities.

The slots are definitely something we are wanting to upgrade. and I’ll pop a bin into the accessible toilet today. The site is run solely by volunteers and is our main fundraising source for the village hall and its grounds. Your support is greatly appreciated and we do hope you’ll be able to stay again.

A aimé A lot to like about this site and it's excellent value for money. Good sized gravel patch.Nice and leafy.

N'a pas aimé Ugh! The toilets and showers. Filthy. When the site is so busy they really need cleaning more often. I would prefer to pay more for the site as it's generally worth more far than they are charging and have the facilities cleaned more often.

A aimé Everything was excellent. Fab facilities and nice and spacious too. We will definitely come again.

N'a pas aimé Only quibble were the café times were a bit unclear. Some information says it shuts at 2pm and other places 9pm. It seems that it's open until 2pm for cooked food but is still available for coffee and cake until 9pm. Just needs a bit of clarification. Minor issue that didn't detract from our stay.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi Karen thanks, cafe times are 9:30 to 2 Wednesday to Sunday ( just changed to our summer times opening 9:00 on a Sunday ) We do have staff on site all the time and during checking in times we do offer coffees, cakes, ice cream’s and pasty’s ( anything cold ) Be great to see you again soon

N'a pas aimé We had awful weather so a shower was really challenging to keep clothes and towel dry when changing area had no roof!

A aimé Lovely peaceful site. No traffic noise which was bliss. The Multi-purpose Barn was great. It was sociable and well planned. We liked the little touches in the washing area such as ample provision of tea towels, cloths, detergent etc. Lots of hot water for a lovely shower. We would certainly stay again and highly recommend to others. Good recycling facilities.

A aimé Its a really lovely family site with lots for children to do. A friendly welcome too! Superb wifi.

A aimé Nearly everything is fabulous. Lovely views and good facilities for the money. A very friendly campsite, Great places to go nearby.

N'a pas aimé Ugly waterworks nearby. Owner absolutely lovely, but reception facilities need to sharpen up a little to come across as more professional. We will definitely go back but we would love a proper (unmanned) reception area where you can ring a bell or a landline telephone for service, the house bell feels extremely intrusive. We felt awful disturbing the family in their home to book another night as there is no mobile or wifi signal.

A aimé Great site, peaceful and quiet. Some basic amenities thrown in make it good value for money. We enjoyed meeting the alpacas. We will visit again.
