A aimé Excellent facilities. Quiet when we visited which was lovely. Expect it gets busy summer time. Has lots for families. We enjoyed a walk in the County lanes, saw Ostrich, horses, lamas and fantastic views. Ate at the hotel restaurant in the village, fabulous food.

A aimé Lovely big field at the pub to walk around with our dog. Great pub, nice food, excellent staff Lilly was fantastic, really a natural hostess/waitress. Close to lovely town Bradford on Avon.

A aimé Easy check in, online as no reception. Very warm clean shower/toilet. Great price for washing/drying clothes. Great value for money site. Lovely cafe on site.

N'a pas aimé Bit more out of town than we expected as the river walk to town was really muddy so we couldn't walk to the local town.

A aimé Nice setting with the lake and well laid out pitches. Shower/toilets were warm and showers had good water pressure. Dish washing area well set out.

N'a pas aimé We were placed close the the restaurant area which had 2 toilet/shower cabins but these were locked! so we had to walk around the fields to the main shower/toilets. The site was very quiet, it was February, dark and weather awful, so we would have appreciated being placed closer to the open showers.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your comments - as you visited us mid week and in very low season I would have hoped that you would have appreciated that we cannot have all facilities heated and running for minimal occupancy, in fairness you were only a couple of minutes further to the main block, a number of sites close during winter months for this very reason, we take this action to try and keep our pitch rate prices down, electricity is not capped for business use as it is for domestic. At the weekends when we have increased numbers of guests we open all the facilities. As for the darkness we do advise in your arrival information to bring a flash light as we are a dark skies accredited site and only have night lights around the amenities sorry the weather was not kinder to you for your break.

A aimé Really helpful staff. Showers/toilets always clean and warm. Good location for travelling around the lakes Ulverston was a nice little town. Plenty of pubs & places to eat.

A aimé Angela was so friendly and helpful. The facilities for showers/toilets/laundry and washing up are all very clean and well presented. It shows that they take a pride in this site. Bus stop just outside site, very easy to get to Cheltenham and we took the dog. Wifi at the pitch was great.

A aimé Excellent location, easy to find. Very big shower/toilet facilites with high pressure hot water. The site was covered in snow but all the facilities were still up and running.

A aimé Mark, the owner, very nice man. Facilities really nice and immaculate, very clean. Site obviously well cared for. Easy to get to and just 51/2 hours to St. Malo for the ferry.
