A aimé The excellent pub on the site is in excellent condition and sells a wide range of food and drink. The campsite is right behind the pub and within a 2 mile walk to the Waverney Marian.

A aimé Everything. Plush new toilet block, spacious pitch layout, exceptional views of the hills and just half an hour's walk from Llangollen town and aqueduct. Customer service was excellent.

A aimé A nice, secluded location and the proprietor was very welcoming. It's a mile across country to the nearest pub which serves good food.

N'a pas aimé It's the first site we've visited in two years that charges for the use of the shower. 20p gets you 1 minute and £1 six minutes. We feel this is a big mistake, partly because finding change is a pain and also because one of the machines didn't work. But also because everyone else one pays for the pitch, which includes the facilities. So we suggest the owner reconsiders this decision.

A aimé Toilet/shower facilities were excellent. Lovely farm shop and restaurant. Dhort walk to lovely pub in Bulwick.

A aimé Phil, the proprietor, is extremely friendly and helpful. The site has rustic toilet and shower rooms which have charm. They're clean and with good facilities. Good location very near the pretty village of Norton St Philip, and a 6 mile walk from Bradford on Avon. Bath is a 9 mile cycle ride away.

A aimé We arrived and were greeted so warmly by the proprietors, themselves stated ardent campers. The site was beautifully appointed, within thick forest, down a winding single track road, and opening out into a lovely site. The facilities were modern and so clean. Each evening our order for croissants was taken for the next morning - such a lovely touch. And the railways station (all stations from Charing Cross to Hastings) was a one mile walk away, meaning we could jump on the hourly train to Battle Abbey and Hastings. I actually thought I wouldn't post a reply so we can keep this beautiful site as our little secret, but everyone deserves to enjoy it as we did.

A aimé The owners were extremely friendly and helpful when we got stuck in some soggy grass. To location is great, a 10 minute walk to Stanford Hall and a great place for cycling to many villages.

N'a pas aimé There are no toilet blocks at all so you need to be self sufficient.

A aimé Excellent site smack-bang in the middle of the Tors. The centre of the walking universe we didn't need to move the motorhome once in four days. The toilets were extremely clean. I would recommend this site 100%.

A aimé We visited with our motorhome so, whilst not using any of the facilities, we did find the proprietor extremely personable and friendly. The layout of the site is expansive, clean and very well maintained. It is a peaceful site in a lovely isolated area, albeit just 5 miles away from the Snape Maltings with its destinational craft shopping, entertainment and walks along the Alde. Thoroughly recommended.
