We take a lot of pride in the cleanliness of our facilities and the overall appearance of our campsite and appreciation of our hard work never goes amiss. Even though it isn't an issue raised by many of our guests, we are sorry to hear that you found the sound of a few passing cars and the occasional train, disturbing, especially since our guests usually comment on how quiet and tranquil our site is. Also, with regards to our CCTV system, we would like to point out that the camera you are referring to is actually aimed at the entrance gates to our middle and bottom fields and it just so happen that the pitch you were on, could be seen in the distance. Our CCTV cameras are a crucial part of our security system - an aspect most of our guests appreciate and find very reassuring. Could it be that you felt it intrusive because our warden found you overnighting in your car rather than your tent, regardless of it being made quite clear on your arrival that it is not allowed on our site? Since your actions were in breach of our Terms and Conditions, we could have asked you to leave, but we are not in the business of ruining anybodys' holidays so, instead, we allowed you to remain on site, providing that you refrain from sleeping in your vehicle for the rest of your stay. Another site might not have been so accommodating. We would like to thank you again for staying with us.

A aimé Really nice little site, with a great bar and music at the Mid Suffolk a short walk away. Facilities clean and basic.

A aimé Simple quiet site on working stables, adequate facilities and pleasant walk to the pub.

A aimé Really nice quiet site in a good location with excellent facilities and access to the Jurassic coast, and a friendly owner. Good size pitches, enjoyed our stay.

A aimé Nice basic on working farm site close to Castleton. Very basic but no doubt a work in progress. Great for a couple of nights lots of walking close to the site. Nothing to dislike, just remember this is a basic field with three portaloos that were kept clean, and a hose for freshwater.
