A aimé The animals were very sweet, highlights were some kittens/cats, a lamb who had free rein and chilled with us for a bit, the ostriches, a very cute dog called Sky, geese, peacocks, chickens and some bunnies! The family were all very lovely and welcoming and when they saw we were bikepacking brought us out a table and chairs to use which was so lovely of them, and very much appreciated! You had a choice of where to set up and there was plenty of soft grass to choose from We didn’t have children with us but others did and it was nice to see them playing with the animals and the owners children. Not the best toilet/showers but they were warm and worked and we would stay again for the other parts.

N'a pas aimé The facilities aren’t maybe the standard of other campsites (rustic toilets and showers) but how often do you find an ostrich there?!

N'a pas aimé Was a bit close to a main road so could hear some of the heavier trucks passing but nothing earplugs cannot block
