A aimé What an absolute gem of a campsite! Honestly one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. The location is brilliant and wonderfully peaceful. The facilities are top-notch — impeccably clean toilets, lovely hot showers, and great washing-up areas that made our whole week run so smoothly. ​A massive, heartfelt thank you to the wonderful hosts. You couldn’t meet nicer, warmer, or more accommodating people — they truly made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed every single second of our holiday and will definitely be back. A five-star stay all round!

A aimé It's a very beautiful, picturesque place. There are many paths for a walk. Lots of room for a tent. The toilet is on site.

N'a pas aimé Driving a car through a very narrow street, you have to be careful. Sometimes the lights at the station come on at night.

A aimé A fantastic campsite. The views are stunning. The pitches are well-maintained. The toilet block is brilliant. It’s very clean, well-lit and has a washbasin. There’s a place to wash up. There are bins for separate waste. Tap with clean drinking water.The owner is simply a lovely young woman. This is going to be our favourite campsite. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

N'a pas aimé There’s no sign pointing to the entrance to the field. Nor is there a sign with an arrow indicating that the entrance is here. It took a bit of time to figure out where the entrance was. It’s off the road. But that’s a minor detail.

A aimé CoolCow Camping has a large territory, and the location is good — just a 7-minute walk to the ocean. Unfortunately, these are the only positives I can mention.

N'a pas aimé I strongly advise against staying at CoolCow Camping. Our trip turned into a nightmare — we had to leave 7 days earlier because our pet’s life was in danger. Instead of showing compassion, management coldly refused to refund the unused days. Their only “solution” was to offer us a free 7-day stay in the 2025 season, which feels meaningless given the circumstances and does not replace the loss we faced. Putting money above basic humanity in such a situation is unacceptable and heartless. On top of that, the campsite itself is uncomfortable: it is almost always cold and windy, drinking water is scarce and not easily accessible, and one of the showers had only cold water throughout our stay. This place showed us not only a lack of comfort, but far worse — a complete lack of empathy. I will never return and cannot recommend this campsite to anyone.

As we mentioned in our correspondence, although our site operates under a no refund policy, we wanted to extend a gesture of goodwill by offering you a complimentary 7 night stay in 2025. Unfortunately, as we are a seasonal pop-up site, we are unable to carry bookings into 2026. We do hope that your cat has made a good recovery, and we send our very best wishes to you as we have in our previous emails. In regard to your other concerns, we will take your feedback on board. Our site is situated in an open coastal location, which can naturally mean varied weather conditions, and while we do provide drinking water points and facilities, we’re sorry to hear they did not meet your expectations. We’ll also ensure that we review the shower issue you highlighted to prevent this happening again. We genuinely regret that your experience did not reflect the welcoming and enjoyable stay we strive to offer all our guests.
