A aimé We recently had the most amazing stay at Acorn Wood Campsite, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better little getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The owners greeted us and took the time to show us around and explain where everything was, which was such a lovely touch. We stayed in the onsite pod which was dog friendly so we was able to take our 2 dogs along for the getaway. The facilities were fantastic, spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The fact that it’s adults only made it even more perfect for the peaceful and relaxing getaway we needed. The pond was lovely, and the fishing house was such a fantastic idea and incredibly well equipped. Even if you're accompanying someone who loves fishing but you're not a fisher yourself, there's still somewhere comfortable and enjoyable for you to relax — such a thoughtful touch! We also loved the “share a book” idea. It’s the little things like this that make a place feel extra special. We loved every single minute of our stay and made memories we’ll treasure. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Acorn Wood Campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, welcoming and truly special getaway. A aimé The site and accommodation were both lovely. The cleaning team were very friendly and chatty. Facilities where close to the pods we were staying in. I liked that the pods were set off the main site in the woods which made it feel cosy and more private. Pods clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. Fishing sites were good and well stocked

N'a pas aimé Maps appeared to be a little out of date. Recycling was very full. Wasn't clear on confirmation email that wild swimming and water boarding was available so missed out on this as was fullu booked when arrived
