A aimé Lovely single set up in a large field with accompanying horse and curious chickens. I used one of the firepits and pitched by the stream. Blissful

A aimé Very friendly working farm, a lovely welcome. As it was very busy, we were moved to a slightly less occupied area which suited us perfectly. A good clean pitch, well maintained grass and we were lucky with the weather. We had a fire pit which was the primary reason of booking there and it was very easy to access the site and pop out to local pub

A aimé A fantastic location, just the right distance from civilisation. Many different types of pitches to choose from in the woods or by the lake itself. Lots of friendly ducks and fish. A very peaceful stay, having a fire each night was a great experience. The expected sounds of a working site to be heard and lots of morning choruses and woodland authenticity. Pitching in the woods was as wild as you could get but with the required bathroom facilities if required. A short drive to the nearest town and spectacular views up at the Long Mynd

N'a pas aimé Nothing at all. The ducks took a few days to get used to me but that's nature for you.

A aimé My first ever camping trip, arrived just after the bank holiday so it was very quiet. Very welcome owners, the shower and kitchen blocks were spotless and the bonus of a freezer to refreeze ice blocks before the next campsite Fantastic views over the valley, a short drive or walkable into town for lunch. A great proper working farm meaning plenty of activity going on giving a great sense of being in the countryside. Would definitely return!
