A aimé Excellent value for money. The perfect price point for a well priced getaway in the van. The site is clean, well laid out, with clean, well maintained shower / toilet blocks. Ideal for families, mature couples & anglers alike. Very friendly owners who personally greet guests upon arrival. Those who moan about the road noise need to enjoy themselves more, because it really isn't that bad. Going to make this site a regular weekend getaway base.

A aimé One of our favourite Norfolk campsites. Good size pitches , great walks, friendly staff. Sadly we had to cut our stay short, this time, due to a family emergency. But we hope to return for a long weekend break later this summer.

A aimé A great site & extremely good value for money. Our second visit & definitely not our last. Ideal for a quiet break especially if you're in the adults only area. The only thing that cost the site a star was some inconsiderate dog owners who used the dog walk, let their dogs run off lead & never cleaned up after them or left poop bags hanging from branches, when there's plenty of dog waste bins about. Not the fault of the site, but maybe some clearer enforcement notices are needed.

A aimé This is one of the nicest campsite's we have visited this year. Everything was clean & well laid out. No wonder it was really busy for the time of year.

A aimé A peaceful pleasant location with generous pitches. A very friendly owner greeted us upon arrival & attended promptly when we had an issue with the EHU at night. Donkeys goats & chickens are a nice touch, especially for families with small children. Okay for an en-route stopover .

N'a pas aimé Just the one toilet / shower & one separate WC. Not the fault of the site but the person before me left the shower dirty with muddy footprints everywhere. Hard to find from the main road, drove past the end of the lane twice. Look for the industrial units. Somewhat expensive for the facilities provided when you can get everything this site offers (apart from the ehu) in Tintagel car park for £6 per night.

We’re a small, peaceful site with only 5 pitches, so 2 toilets and 1 shower are usually sufficient, we’re upgrading to 3 showers and 4 toilets this winter to accommodate more guests and pitches. Our prices reflect the space, views, and tranquillity we offer—not a crowded “car park style” campsite—and unlike many others, we don’t charge extra for facilities. The details are clearly listed on Pitch up, so we’re sorry if it wasn’t what you were looking for.

A aimé A lovely site in a great location for visiting the far South West of Cornwall. A big site with generous pitches. Nice clean toilets & showers. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Very peaceful with nice views & in close walking distance of St Buryan village & a nice farm shop & cafe. If you have a big motorhome, like ours, beware that the site entrance is very narrow & if coming in from the A30 from Crows-An-Wra, you may have to shunt a bit to get through the gateway.

N'a pas aimé Not really a dislike but the free WiFi is a bit weak & doesn't quite reach the pitches. However, there's a TV room one can sit in if WiFi is needed desperately.

A aimé This is a great site if you like forest & country village walks. A well maintained, friendly site with a handy little shop & good size pitches. Composting toilets are strategically positioned around the site, which is handy for anyone making their way back from the pub in Rattery village. Good value for money site.

A aimé What a great site for visitors to the Eden Project. Although it is in walking distance, the owner, Mark, insisted on driving us there & collecting us later in the day. Nothing seemed too much bother. Extension to the toilet / shower block is under construction for the 2026 season. Good size pitches with all necessary services nearby. Unfortunately the wifi wasn't working, but that was a minor inconvenience as the mobile signal was good. Some lovely walks around the lakes & into the nearby village. Electricity is currently charged at £5 per night. The showers / toilets etc are clean & well maintained.

A aimé Spacious pitch. Friendly staff. Good facilities: Shop, Bar, Chippy, Clean modern shower blocks, full touring services. Lovely Fell views, Peaceful site. We enjoyed our long weekend, based here touring the lakes.

A aimé Fairly central to the isle. Small quiet site with a nice walk to the reservoir & forest. Good sized, well kept pitches with ample grass area to the side. Very clean site throughout Grey / black waste & water facilities included Lovely views of Snowdonia. Very friendly owners.

A aimé Our second stay at Snettisham Meadows. This time it was because we were visiting Sandringham Christmas Fair. The perfect base, 3 miles down the road. It was quiet & although reception was unmanned, due to the time of year, the owners were only a phone call away, if needed & everything one needed was available. The site inc the shower / toilet block & potwash was immaculately clean as always. We'll be back again in the new year for at least a couple of long weekends away with our dogs. The WiFi seemed a bit weak around the electric pitches, but this is probably due to nearby overhead power cables. Not the site's fault, so not a dislike. A good 4G signal compensated for that, so no big deal.

A aimé Everything is set out just right. A small hedge between pitches gives a sense of seclusion, yet the site still has an open plan friendly feel about it. Well sited for a short walk to the National Trust Sutton Hoo site, with its visitor centre & dog-friendly walks. A 1.6 mile walk along the River Deben to the Deben Cafe Bar on the former HMS Vale patrol boat in Melton Boat Yard. Nice clean shower / toilet block. The site is well maintained with a largr dog walking field. A bus stop at the end of the road with a service to Woodbridge & Ipswich. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay & will definitely be returning in 2025

A aimé A big, well kept, friendly site. Welcomed by polite, friendly & knowledgeable staff who directed us to all of the camp facilities & local amenities & attractions. The pitches were generous & the showers & toilets were new & spotlessly clean. If you're into walking & have dogs, there's a nearby dog-friendly beach with dunes & creeks to explore plus the harbour wall which surrounds a lagoon with water sports & a nature reserve which is home to ground nesting sea birds & water fowl. The nearby Ski Bar at the water sports complex is great for food & karaoke & is dog friendly. You have to try the ice cream parlour. Extremely generous portions of some of the most delicious ice cream, hot & cold drinks. Very reasonable prices too.

N'a pas aimé Not a dislike, but beware of leaving bags of rubbish outside of your motorhome, tourer or tent, unless you want to wake up to a job, litter picking. Put them in the bins provided as we noticed that the gulls had opened a few overnight & had strewn rubbish everywhere. No Wi-Fi on the site is the only dislike as the 4G signal seemed intermittent.

A aimé Picturesque Norfolk Broads riverside setting with roomy pitches. Next to the pub & ferry. Well kept site, clean facilities.Nice walks along the river, about 0.5 miles to Reedham village. Great for wildlife spotting with lots of waders, warblers, swans, ducks & even otters. The pub is your port of call for any issues. It has a friendly local atmosphere, dog friendly, a riverside terrace, with a separate indoor dining area & serves great food. Wifi available but isn't free. We'll be returning for a much longer stay.

N'a pas aimé The shower timers (something others have commented on) aren't set to stay on long enough. The shower I used, you only got 15 seconds of water (yes I timed it) which meant trying to shower with one elbow on the button. Something which I am sure can be rectified. Otherwise there's nothing else to mention.

A aimé No wonder this site has won awards. It's well laid out, in great surroundings. Immaculately maintained with extremely friendly, helpful staff. Service points strategically placed. We were in the "Adults Only" area which was lovely & peaceful, with access to the dog walk. Wifi Hotspots around the site with access to free internet. As the site is at the end of a very narrow, single track road they have a system by where anyone leaving the site (even for a day excursion) in a vehicle does so by 11 AM, that way, returning vehicles arrive among the newly arriving tourers. It works. Outside the main gate, just along the road there is a public footpath which takes you through a wooded area with streams & an abundance of wildlife including deer. It leads to Swanton Novers & a nature reserve.

A aimé Good size pitches, great facilities, nice location close to village with nice walks, dog friendly great value for money, friendly helpful staff, free WiFi. Great activities for families or those traveling with young grandchildren.

N'a pas aimé Not a dislike, but non electric pitches aren't numbered, so if you're in a motorhome / campervan & go out in it for the day, then you may have to return to another pitch.
