A aimé Excellent site - clean and well looked after. Friendly. Dog walking field with agility course! Large playground for the kids. Views of Harlech Castle and Snowdonia. 10 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to the local shop. 5 minute walk to bus stops and railway station. Good shower/toilet block - including laundrette, elsan point, washing up area, even separate showers to wash off the beach! Great dog 'spa'!

N'a pas aimé Slight downsides: Pricier than most sites. Bit of a walk to facilities block (but that's because we were tucked away in a lovely corner). Could do with a few more bins around the site. Showers were the kind that you have to keep pushing the button every minute or so. There was no way of varying the shower temperature (which in a heatwave would've been nice)!

With regards to the showers, the push-button timers and preset temperature are in place to help conserve water and for health and safety reasons. A aimé Gorgeous setting. More facilities for the price than most: drinking water, elsan point, toilet, cafe. Friendly people. Laid back. Entertaining robot grass mower that never stopped!

N'a pas aimé All areas had a "very slight" slope. Cafe didn't open till 10am, so never got the breakfast!

A aimé Open space. Layed back atmosphere. Useful extras that not usually included for the type and price of site - flat pitches, toilet, drinking water, elsan point, waste disposal, fairy lights, koi carp. The price.

N'a pas aimé Could be a problem in the winter as apparently the ground gets quite muddy. If you approach the site from the wrong end of the road leading to it, it is very narrow - okay the opposite way.

N'a pas aimé Getting to the site was a nightmare - the lane leading to it was very narrow. Had to reverse the 7m motorhome about 75m at one point!

A aimé Great site. All aspects are good. Good/clean showers/toilets. Good clean water facilities. Good waste water facilities. Good elsan points. Good cleanliness. Good layout. Good friendly staff (especially the minibus driver). Good idea to have a minibus. Good restaurant with big helpings. Good!

N'a pas aimé Just minor things... You need transport to get anywhere due to busy road with no pavements (minibus!). The pitches are stepped (but flat) due to the site sloping and our mobility scooter found the slope hard work!

A aimé Very, very quiet. No facilities, just an empty field with hens! Felt safe although we were the only people there. £10 for the night... what more do you want?

N'a pas aimé Downside... damn tricky entrance gate, down a slim country track: no damage to the motorhome but blackberry smears down the side! Easier to get out than in.

A aimé For £14 for the night, great site. Stopped overnight and it ticked the boxes! Cute toilet. Elsan point. Water. Grey water disposal. Various bins for recycling. Friendly staff. Only downside...

N'a pas aimé ... next to a very regular train line! Although the trains stopped around 10ish, up till then they were every 10 minutes. Not overly loud but noticeable. Didn't ruin the visit.

A aimé Nice small site. Clean modern shower/toilet block. Very friendly/helpful staff. Level pitches. Just the right distance from local towns/villages. Good to have lighting on site at night.

N'a pas aimé The bloody weather - obviously not the site's fault - and hence having to be towed off the grass pitch!

A aimé Flat pitch. Near harbour. Near beach. Clean facilities.

N'a pas aimé Not enough toilets/showers (only 3 showers). Showered 3 times during stay and 3 times the shower finished and wouldn't start again. Had to help release a fellow camper from a different cubicle as the door had locked itself! The site is a bit exposed to the weather/wind.

A aimé Everything... Gorgeous site. Beautiful setting. Private pitches with neat hedges and electric hook up, own water supply, own waste water drain. Spotless showers and toilets. Waste bins nicely hidden away in specific shed. Great dog exercise field (with a lake and fountains). Fantastic walk through a lovely wood/meadow down to the river. Very friendly and helpful staff, supplying a wealth of information.
