A aimé We stayed on the bottom field with our dog. Spacious field and relaxed atmosphere with lots of other well behaved dogs. Showers were hot and free and super clean, as we're washing up area. So close to the harbour! We ate at the fabulous Mussel Shoal right on the harbour wall and kayaked in the harbour. Great memories made.

A aimé A peaceful level glade by the river with masses of space to make a secluded camp. We enjoyed a bbq and fire pit as the sun went down with happy dogs splashing in the river. Short minute walk down the field into town for a steep 30 minute walk up to the waterfalls, then downhill back for the beer festival 😀. Hot clean showers and very welcoming and relaxed hosts made this a perfect stay. It veers on the wild camp side but great if you have off grid van or tent.

A aimé Beautiful iconic walks to Dove Dale on the doorstep and a well kept and quiet site with roomy pitches. Shop had all the essentials with cheerful staff and was dog friendly with well marked dog walking areas. The shower and toilet block needs a little updating but clean and functional. We didn't have kids with us but a great central and secure play area would keep little ones happy for hours, as well as the indoor pool.
