A aimé The site is in a great location, the showers were hot and clean , the pitch we had was big ( right at the top near the tyre swing). The man/owner is the nicest most accommodating warden we have ever came across and we have travelled for years all over the UK, France and Spain. While we stayed we visited Barry island which was lovely, so clean, we also visited Cardiff bay again That was really nice and we went to the Glenmorgan vale country show which was fantastic. I've already recommended this site to family and we would definitely return

A aimé The site is so clean, the pitches are very spacious, the owner is helpful and he does not try to fill the site, only 10 vans/ caravans on site Friday and Saturday. We stayed here to go to ripon races it was £11 so get to Ripon in an Uber and £13 to get back , I use my own shower but my husband used the on site ones , he said they were spotlessly clean and had plenty of hot water ( not push buttons) we would definitely return

A aimé I liked everything about this site, the location is great, just a few minutes from the A1 ( so a great stop over) and 5-10 minutes walk to a Co-op , cafe and a pub which also serves food and is dog friendly. The owner is lovely, he explained where everything was including the dog walk and asked where we would like to pitch ( sunny spot was great). The site is quiet, very clean and well kept. The toilets and shower was clean and water was hot. we would definitely recommend and return

A aimé Nice quiet site, spacious pitches , not far from A1 so great for travelling, code entry so great for me as I arrived late and left early , I would definitely return and recommend

A aimé Quick check in , nice pitches , clean toilets and showers , lovely staff, cafe bar is nice the cheesecake was beautiful, location and sea view is lovely. Metered electric which is great

A aimé The location by the canal is really nice and the pool area is lovely. Restaurant food was nice .

N'a pas aimé Arrived and given a pitch where someone was already pitched, when I told the gentleman on reception he pointed to a pitch just across from the reception and said "we have that one " so we took it , unfortunately as this pitch was practically in the carpark, it was very noisy on a night and not private at all. We hired a Fridge €20 for the 4 days , it was so dirty but I cleaned it with bleach spray . Went for a shower and after queuing for a short time , the water was so cold . There is not enough sanitary facilities for the size of the site and the amount of quest's. Service in the restaurant was inadequate 30 minutes to order We paid for 4 nights but left after 2

A aimé Stayed here last night in preparation for our early morning crossing, welcomed by a nice man who showed us to our pitch, sanitary facilities and told us about the lake near by . The pitch was a good size with, electric , water and a little shed which would be good for bikes ect . Toilets and showers were nice and clean €1 for a shower which was nice and hot. The lake near by is lovely with boats , peddlos , bouncy castles and more . We ate at a local restaurant, turn right out of the site and it's 10 minutes down the road the burgers were amazing. This site is in a great location and we would definitely return.

A aimé Everything about this site is great , showers were hot , lots of washing up areas , pool was really nice pitches are a good , entertainment was great

N'a pas aimé The sign for the pool states No dogs in the pool, does not say no dogs in the pool area so after being there for over an hour we were asked to remove the dog from right over in the far corner under the trees . If it's a dog friendly site , maybe a small area near the pool where families with dogs can access , would be amazing

A aimé The site is lovely, I was allowed to checkin 2 days early , the stream/river where you can paddle board ect is also nice, pitch was big and other campers all respectful of eachother, showering and pot washing facilities all nice and clea . Really close to a lovely little village
