A aimé The location of the site is absolutely stunning. Right by Lake Windermere. It doesn’t get any better than waking up to the sound of the water. The tents are spacious and comfortable. The staff here are all so lovely. We hired a canoe and I was a little nervous but Sara was very informative and knowledgable. All the staff acknowledge you and care about this beautiful site.

N'a pas aimé There are no showers or rubbish bins but I knew this before I arrived so was prepared. It’s well documented on pitch up. I would book for longer if it had these amenities but I know they are trying to keep this site off grid for a purpose. We will be back again one day :-)

A aimé It was so warm and toasty and very clean and comfortable. Spectacular views of loch Awe. Cute little shop a few mins walk away that does lovely food and sells alcohol and logs!

N'a pas aimé Didn’t realise just how far away it was from a main road! Be prepared to drive down a beautiful single track road for a loooong time! This makes it so stunning though.
