A aimé Quiet remote campsite located on a working farm. The owners were lovely and very welcoming. We were the only tent for most of the week so had everything to ourselves.

A aimé Lovely family run site with plenty of space, well kept facilities and the added bonus of a shop on site. Being able to see the animals was a great addition too. EV charger on site also very convenient.

A aimé The camp site was really well equipped with large, spaced out pitches. The picnic table at every pitch was a great feature and made eating outside really easy. Wish more sites had this. The toilet and shower facilities were always clean and for a large site, we never had to wait for a shower to be available. The owners were incredibly welcoming and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. Our pitch (3) was tucked away in a corner of the site which gave us a lovely sense of privacy during our stay. The maps of suggested walks provided by the site is a great addition too. We enjoyed a lovely (yet steep) walk up to the church of St Tecwyn and the lovely lake.

N'a pas aimé Very little to dislike about this site. Despite being a nice private corner of the site, our tent was in somewhat of a wind tunnel which made for an interesting night during a storm on Monday night. The wifi is an additional cost (£20/2000mb for a year), however the strength of the signal despite being near to a signal booster was less than adequate to stream an episode of something on the iPad. The best time to use the WiFi was around 4am we discovered. So bear that in mind when spending the money.

A aimé Had a lovely week at Trencreek this week. The pitch was huge compared to others we have stayed in. The electric and water being at the pitch made such a difference too. On site facilities were clean and well maintained and there were plenty of them for such a big site. The bar was a reasonable price and the shop was convenient if we didn't want to head down to Morrisons which is a short drive away. The site is pretty and the fishing lake at the bottom of the site made for a nice walk.

N'a pas aimé It would have been useful to know that the whole site is CASH ONLY and they do not accept card anywhere on site. There isn't a cash machine on site either. So if you want to use the bar, shop, cafe or takeaway you'll need cash. There are signs all over the site advertising wifi although this didn't seem to exist - not a problem but worth mentioning.

A aimé The site is a self contained site off the main road which makes for a peaceful and quiet stay. Being so far out there is no light polution at night making for amazing starry skies. The facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained and the couple who run the site are always super friendly and welcoming.

N'a pas aimé The composting toilets are still something I can't get used to but I understand the reason for them.

A aimé What an amazing last minute find this place was! A beautifully quaint campsite within easy reach of the major Norfolk attractions. The site was spotlessly clean, well maintained and the owners were super welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The composting toilets are a great way of saving on water and once you get used to them are really not that bad. They are cleaned regularly and never smell. The addition of being able to use a fire pit (£5 per basket of firewood) made for a nice warm evening under the stars. We will definitely stay here again when on this side of the country. Thank you for a great stay!
