A aimé Really friendly and helpful people who run the site, great location for beach and access to town. Reasonably priced and not too noisy considering it’s next to a road. Small shops and bakery a short walk away.

N'a pas aimé Facilities basic in the extreme. No hot water available due to lack of solar to heat the water. A little bit scruffy but we were the first visitors of the season, so there’s time for that to improve.

A aimé Very friendly and helpful staff, great location for Cascais and the Autodroma de Estoril. Bus service right outside the gate. Great cycle ride into Cascais, the coastal scenery is stunning.

N'a pas aimé Some of the facilities are careworn, locks on toilet doors that don’t work, showers that barely work, roads and drains in need of maintenance and repair.

A aimé Facilities, easy of arrival especially late because of Condor timings. Toilets and showers.

A aimé Perfect location nestled in an off road cul de sac with a stream running through it! Short walks to shops, supermarkets and local pub. Slightly longer walk to the gorge and all it’s natural beauty. Facilities spot on, staff very helpful and friendly, all in all a great venue.

A aimé Easy access, good hard standing with grass borders. Good facilities, toilets and showers, waste disposal all a good standard. Nice location, surrounded by fields and a short, if somewhat ‘hairy’ first 500yds before a footpath appears, walk to the bus stop by the university or onward into town. Taxis readily available at a competitive price.

N'a pas aimé The site has seen considerable investment in recent years but is slightly let down by old and apparently unused caravans left on the site which spoils the quality of the site.

A aimé Great hard standing pitches, set in a tranquil yard at the rear of the main building. Shower, toilet and kitchen facilities second to none, superb. No grass areas for other activities, but surrounded by more grass than you could ever walk on when taking to the paths. Nice, friendly pub about twenty minutes walk away, great food and warm welcome atmosphere. Both the site and the pub are doggie friendly.

A aimé Good location for Doninngton race circuit, Melbourne village a short walk, safer if the hiking path is taken, good facilities coupled to a nice outlook over the fishing lake. Good value for money. Friendly staff.

N'a pas aimé Quite a lot of traffic noise and many flights out of East Midlands airport. Got used to it after the night but something to consider.
