A aimé Nice site, surprisingly quiet given proximity to the pub. Nice pub too! Good wifi at the pub

A aimé A simple but well thought out site with everything I needed. First bonus was a friendly helpful welcome followed by the morning of my departure an early morning visit by several deer.

N'a pas aimé Nothing really, maybe the ice cream chiller needs to be a couple of degrees colder but the fact there was one was a good thing!

A aimé I really like the relaxed vibe here and the friendly welcoming people. This is my second visit and I will go back again particularly as they are open all year Plenty of room to pitch in a quiet location and since my last visit a bar area has been added for people to have either a tea/coffee or a drink, they had an interesting range of cider on tap. New toilets have also been added I like the fact you can walk out the back of the site to go hiking along the Saxon Shore route for miles in peace or go into Canterbury

N'a pas aimé Nothing really but the site can be muddy but then this was November Don't be put off by the weird and wonderful collection of vehicles , caravans and trailers as you enter the camping areas, they add to the charm

A aimé Peace and quiet, location, no light pollution so amazing star gazing. I intend to use the site again

A aimé Quiet site conveniently located for my hiking [Vanguard way is nearby] Facilities were clean and well maintained

N'a pas aimé Nothing really though i was aware of the railway and the Gatwick flightpath once all the other daytime sounds had faded away. This was a very minor issue with background noise which would be true pretty much anywhere in South East England

N'a pas aimé Finding a level pitch was a challenge even with a solo tent and the noise from presumably the A21 construction work was noticeable though beyond the sites control and would not be a permanent feature

A aimé A charming quiet location with friendly helpful people. I liked the peace camping right at the back of the site, the table was a thoughtful addition to my pitch. There is a small shop and clean facilities. I also liked the collection of interesting vehicles in various stages of renovation at the front of the site. A handy location for someone looking for some quiet walking routes.

A aimé friendly welcome and the location. There is a really enjoyable circular walk on the SW Coastal path for an energetic visitor

N'a pas aimé Huge weird building behind the site, it didn't spoil my stay but whomsoever thought plonking it there was appropriate hasn't done the location any favours

A aimé Great views from the cliff top particularly first thing in the morning and a very friendly welcome. I also liked the low density of people on site.
