A aimé If you love wild camping, you will love this site. It's a huge field with easy access to the river, has toilets, rubbish bin and picnic tables. We stayed in the middle of August on Tuesday and there were only us there, so plenty of space and privacy. Very quiet, great for river swimming, campfires, watching the stars and just connecting with the nature. Lots of space for children to play with the ball, run, etc and to have a splash / swim too. River depth varies, so suitable for all ages in different places. There was plenty of tiny fish in the river and we saw lots of different wild birds. Certainly recommend and would go back.

N'a pas aimé Not disliked, but to be aware that the toilets are quite far from the river access points. So if you are staying near the river, the toilets are on the opposite far side of the field and it takes few minutes walk to get there.

A aimé Good size shower rooms with plenty of hooks and racks for all the bits. Beautiful views of the sea, well stocked shop on site and village shop with Post Office is just 2 minutes walk away. Can see the church from the campsite with it's clock and can check the time without searching for the phone or a watch.

N'a pas aimé The whole campsite is on the hill and none of the tent pitches are flat. Village church clock rings every 15 minutes day and night that can be very disturbing and certainly to be aware of. Parking is away from the tent and there is no separation between the pitches, so not much privacy on your pitch and lots of walking back and forth to the car. The main village road is just behind the wall of campsite and there was a bit of traffic all night what did not feel like you were on the countryside, but in the city. We stayed in the tent in the middle of the week in July. In general, it's good, clean and well organised site. Just few things to be aware of before travel.

A aimé Very quiet, just on the Avon river bank and you can hear water running through the stones. Beautiful place with nice walks around. Helpful owners too. If you are looking for a wild camping, this is a perfect place. Have only toilet facilities and the rest is just nature and no even mobile signal around.
