Everything about site, was given a welcome pack n Karen explained everything in detail. Showed us where all the amenities were. Walked us to our pitch n said any problems just pop in reception or call. Site was immaculate, trees n grass cut, pitch had everything we needed. Lovely farm as well with beautiful Alpacas. Great was into Pickering, not too far. As we were leaving staff chatted with us n welcomed us back anytime. Would recommend to family n friends.

Our third visit to Westgate Carr has been every bit as enjoyable as our previous two. This site remains the most precisely maintained of any that we’ve visited in our three years of touring in our motorhome. Quiet, immaculately clean, beautifully manicured grassed and hedged areas make for an overall feeling of relaxation and comfort.
Nicely located a brisk 35 minute walk into the lovely rural town of Pickering. The very polite and friendly management team ensured our enjoyment throughout.

Small peaceful adult only environmentally 'dark skies' friendly site. Large, fully serviced pitches each with picnic benches . Fast Free Wi-Fi. There are two ponds on site. We observed alpacas and horses. Hens roam freely around the site.
The hosts are friendly and helpful - we will definatley be returning soon!

Every thing is so beautifully clean, well kept, tidy touring pitches.

First time in the campervan - really liked the site, so clean with lovely shower and toilets.

We were given a very warm welcome by David and Karen. We had alpacas as neighbours! The site is so clean, the grass is so green, it is quiet and all you can hear is nature! The toilets are fabulous! The dog walk right by our tent was perfect for our stressy dog! We walked into Pickering only took us half an hour so fine for us. The Sun pub let us have fish and chips in the beer garden, which helped with the walk back! Simply perfect.

Having to go back to work so not being able to stay longer!

We were greeted with a lovely welcoming and taken to our pitch, and shown how everything works ie, Electric, water and waste, and where the toilet block and bins were. Nothing was any trouble.
This site is the cleanest tidiest site I have ever stayed on. Toilet/ shower block was immaculately clean, warm and with back ground music ( who could wish for more) there was also a lovely little walk you can go on around the site. So picturesque. Will definitely stay here again. 💯 recommend.

A bit too far to walk into Pickering but the owners gave us lots of info on arrival for taxis, deliveroo so problem solved
