The site and pitches were superbly maintained. The toilet and shower block was also modern and very clean.

Very well maintained site with large well spaced pitches.The owners made us feel very welcome. The mile loop walk around the farm, part of which is along the riverbank, was a nice addition. Ideal for spotting local wildlife. Loved seeing the alpacas too. Very tranquil site and ideal place for a chill out weekend. Amenities block was spotlessly clean. Showers nice and hot and although I would prefer non timed showers, considering the price paid for the pitch and the standard of facilities £1 was not unreasonable.

Lovely open air, quiet spot, very clean and tidy. Dog walks well laid out with plenty of dog poo bins. Nice sitting areas to watch the wildlife.

The site is down a long stretch of unlit road - not really suitable for walking at night in the dark

The drive down the long road to the camp wasn't a problem, there was passing places if need be, however we didn't pass anyone.
We were warmly welcomed by the proprietors & shown to plot 18 (a fully serviced & spacious pitch.)
We had a lovely view view of the countryside & it was a nice quiet campsite.
We awoke to the birds singing which is the best thing to hear after a long winter & had a visit from 2 friendly chickens.
The shower/ toilet block was very clean with music playing which is a nice touch as doing make up takes time these days!
The shower cost £1 for 7 minutes which we knew beforehand & came prepared for that. it wasn't a problem at all & very hot water & you didn't have to keep pressing the button unlike some.
I would recommend this site. They are working hard to build another shower/ toilet block which will be needed when busier..
On site there was a short walk to the river & saw Llamas on site from a distance which was cute.

A spacious and well managed site. Visitors to the site are carefully spaced out. It was calm, quiet and most importantly relaxing. Did lots of walking and enjoyed the local amenities. Slept really well on the site.

Liked everything, lovely warm welcome to a fantastic site. Huge pitches with large space between them, every pitch has its own water tap.
Immaculate, beautiful new facilities kept spotlessly clean and shower drains that drained rather than standing in a puddle.
Definitely going back again.

Fantastic little site , very welcoming and informative owners , lovely walk into Pickering, and the fresh eggs from the site hens are to die for !! Fantastic fully flat and serviced pitch , would highly recommend.
