The river was nice.

Site needs a much needed overhaul, as very basic. Toilets and showers very out dated and the washing up room also out dated. Arrived on site to find that the Pub was shut and no staff about. Only found out that the place was meant to be shut over the weekend, as owners were getting married. I hadn't been told, as we're some of the other campers, hadn't been told.

It was in a lovely setting and the oub was great, however, it was shut on the Saturday as they were getting married. We weren't informed of thid by Pitch Up

The toilet and shower facilities weren't great. There was only 1 ladies toilet and the toilet seat was completely broken. I did mention this to the barman and he did know about it and said the owners intended to renovate these in the closed season so hopefully this will improve things. There was a caravan on site which looked permanent and they had children riding around on a quad bike which was very noisy at times. This needs to be addressed

There washup area was amazing there was two sinks both with hot running water and there’s. A toaster and kettle in there to also the showers ready good nd there free the staff are very friendly and helpful and the pub is fantastic foods top notch nd the beer garden is really nice will definitely be back next year

Lovely couple I met.

Only one female toilet, which was broken, the washing pots area very run down, needs knocking down and new area put up. The pub was very nice but had no hot chocolate for my daughter and asked for a basket of chips, said would be a long wait. Apart from meeting a lovely couple while camping, this place needs revamping and organisation.

Friendly check in. No fuss. Pretty and small campsite next to a lovely canal. Very pretty local area and the village of Pewsey is really quaint. The locals are so friendly. Decent playground in the pub garden.

Amenities block was basic at best. Only one ladies toilet with a loose toilet seat. Grubby by day 2. No toilet roll by day 3.
Grubby showers with no shelves whatsoever to put anything down on. Traffic noise was a little annoying.

Un cadre agréable, avec une petite rivière et de la place, ainsi qu'une aire de jeux et une auberge. Plusieurs sites intéressants sont à proximité (comme Stonehenge). Les sanitaires sont agréables.

Le ménage n'a pas été fait durant la durée de notre séjour dans les sanitaires.

Riverside pitches in the main field looked nice for those who could get them. Might be tranquil at other times (very noisy on bank holiday weekend). Nice food at the inn.

‘Adult only’ pitches by the river were mostly taken up by families with young children and their cars parked along the bank. No fire-safe separation between pitches. Our neighbours’ fire of smashed pallets almost set fire to our sun canopy. Allocating pitches might help. Rubbish and burnt out metal in the field we were in. Only one toilet for women, no toilet roll.

Good location and staff were friendly.

One ladies' toilet for the entire campsite. The toilet seat was broken, and the hand dryer didn't work. No waste bin in the toilet cubicle, and most of the time no toilet paper. Not clear how to contact staff if there were any issues when the pub was closed. Lots of rubbish dotted around the site.

Potential to be a lovely site by the river, and food was good. Staff were friendly, although not clear how to contact them when the pub was closed. Although the toilet itself was clean, the building was not, and could do with a deep clean.

One toilet for ladies is not enough for the number of pitches on the site. Always a queue for the toilet in the evenings and mornings. Toilet roll was constantly running out, although there were two large commercial toilet roll holders in the cubicle, which, if both were filled, would have resolved the toilet paper running out so quickly. The cleaner seemed to replenish with one small toilet roll when it was replaced. No way of contacting the owners to ask for toilet roll when the pub was closed.
The hard-standing pitches have a grass strip, not well maintained, but the strip is very narrow, so you can't really pitch an awning next to your campervan or caravan.
Pitches don't seem to be checked when previous campers have left. Someone had emptied the contents of a fire pit onto our pitch and another pitch, which another family member was on, containing nails and sharp metal. I had to clear them up to make sure our dogs didn't tread on them. Also, lots of cigarette butts around the site and scraps of paper, especially on the hard-standing pitches. Evidence of large rubbish fires on the site, possibly by the owners, that had not been cleaned away. Lots of rubbish, like old pallets around the site, spoiling what should be a picturesque site, being next to the river.
Although a dog-friendly site, no pooh bins.
