Quiet site during the week, a bit more noise at the weekend. Good location for Wiltshire sights, and a short drive from essential shops. Facilities are adequate when the site is quieter - but got a bit overloaded at the weekend. Next to a pub is a bonus- but be aware that it was closed Mon-Weds

It's a nice site - the landlord was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived, it is dog-friendly and the shallow river running along the edge of the site was an absolute godsend on a scorching hot weekend!
Plenty of hot water in the showers, showers and toilet clean, electric kettle in the washing up/kitchen area was a nice touch.

Only one toilet in the ladies - this was ok on quite a quiet weekend but would be a stretch if busier. Toilet seat was collapsing, so added a sense of jeopardy !
Kitchen area could do with a bit of a spruce-up.
Really need to improve the bin situation - need clearer, separate bins for recycling and non-recycling and the big bins by the pub car park were over flowing

Friendly staff, quick and easy for a one night stay, pub onsite for food and drink.

Toilets and showers were clean!

Not much space especially for a Tentbox/ camper vans. The flat pitches where all took by the time we go there and we ended up being very close in between two other separate traveler’s where I could hear their conversations etc

I recommend if there are any available, book hard standing for campers/tentboxs

site is in a lovely spot with a stream/river that you can camp right next too if you get their early enough.

Lovely and peaceful, the pub is lovely too!

The facilities are what let this place down unfortunately…
over 2 days we were there I dont believe the loos/showers were cleaned, luckily the other campers didn’t make much mess in here…
Which was not the same for the sink area… this was left an absolute state by other campers unfortunately. I know this is not the sites problem but it wasn’t cleaned up and was left…

Very clean peaceful and friendly site showers n toilets clean could do with another toilet or two in each male and females blocks other than that spot on

Loved the location, the loos were amazing really good facilities and the food vans were very good

Phone quickly answered on arrival to check in.
Showers hot and powerful, no extra charges to use them.
Kettle and toaster available in washing up room.
Really nice evening meal in the pub.

Limited amount of level grass pitches so had to set up closer to another tent than would have liked.

Stuff was very friendly, toilets and showers were very clean. Food at the cafe was fresh and delicious. Can't complain about the place really.

The staff were lovely and helpful.
Great toilet,shower and cleaning facilities.
The site was clean and peaceful witha fishing lake next door.
We pitched on a beautiful spot by the river, there were lots of wildlife.
We performed some music in the beer garden and on the campsite, everyone enjoyed it.
We will happily visit again, very peaceful and run by a lovely family.
We had a wonderful time.
