Been before and daughter adored it.

Petorama was shut permanently not notified of this on booking big reason for the visit. Daughter was hugely disappointed.
Cafe also shut long term?
Reduced opening hours on camping and food shop.
Pizza van closed entire length of stay. Last visit there had been lots of different food vans to choose from and extra activities for kids(dinosaur week) seemed like the place was in shut down despite May half term visit.
Then to add to insult diggers would start work early (before 8am) on the new lodge area. Ruining the tranquil countryside atmosphere we were hoping for. Over all not good. It’s a tricky place to get to and having been before, expected more.
Field 1 amenities could do with an update. They were clean but rather dated.
WiFi is appalling and many networks don’t have any signal.
Strongly recommend car to get out and about. Nice restaurant called depot not far from site.

Excellent facilities, spacious camping spaces, friendly and helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Spacious pitch, close to everything we needed, shop well stocked, country walking route ideal for dogs, good entertainment, clean toilet block & hot showers, great pizza van, super swimming pool.

Food could be better in the Stable Bar.

Beautiful scenery in every field. Toilet and shower Facilities were well maintained and clean. There is so much to keep children of all ages entertained, even in the rain.

Food on site was a bit too pricey. Much cheaper to find somewhere local to the campsite.

Shower cubicles very small due to a fold away seat that you have to have out due to lack of hanging options.
Disappointed that the petorama had been closed down as this was one of the reasons we chose this site as knew the kids would enjoy seeing the animals.

Bathroom facilities were excellent, Pool was good, water could have been warmer. Shop, although more pricier than Supermarkets had a good selection of items. Friendly staff, and clean site.

The distance from field 5 to entertainment/shop etc too far for Hubby to walk (as he is disabled). Didn't like getting around main facilities, it wasn't all together, no directions or an easy way to get around. They were in need of renovation and updating.

Easy to check in and find pitch, toilets were spotless. Well maintained, water and electricity all close. Entertainment was quite good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Food and drink were a bit pricey.

Very nice pitches and size grass kept tidy. Pitch drained well in rain we had. Toilet and showe block clean and tidy ans cleaned regularly. Nice pool on site food in pub was stunning. Will be booking again next year without a doubt

Great site easy to get in and out good facilities and quite at bedtime. Ideal for the kids with play parks and swimming and evenings entertainment
