As usual,the site was clean and (where we were) quiet with well kept facilities block,plenty of hot water.Pitch was good and level.

Not much really but I don't think I like the direction the site is being taken now it's in more of a corporate ownership.We have recently bought a touring caravan after many years of camping and it seems camping will be a thing of the past on this site.More and more static caravans are being moved in and hardstanding pitches being prepared for touring vans

Big well spaced out pitches and clean toilets and showers. Nice swimming pool and bars. Lovely views

We had an amazing stay at this campsite and can’t recommend it enough! The site is massive – which we loved – giving everyone plenty of space while still feeling welcoming and well-organised. There are loads of beautiful walks and sights right from the doorstep, so it’s perfect if you enjoy exploring the outdoors.

The toilet and shower blocks were huge and spotless every time we used them, which made a real difference. The on-site shop was a great bonus too – really handy for picking up the essentials (and a few treats!).

We honestly loved everything about this place and are already planning our return.

Traffic delays meant we were going to miss the 5pm check in - we called ahead and were told to relax, take our time and if needs be they would put our name and pitch number in the reception window - excellent service - we did make it and had a friendly welcome from receptionists.

As we were pitching a Warden came and checked we were ok - asked him about dog areas and he pointed us in the right direction.

Whole site is really dog friendly - lovely dog walking area and our dog was also welcomed in the stables to watch our children ride.

Stables were a great addition - we had booked a trek in advance and didn’t disappoint really friendly staff.

Spotlessly clean site - saw multiple wardens throughout our stay litter picking and the toilet and shower blocks were also clean and heated which was a bonus.

Great little shop for extras such as cold drinks etc.

This is a huge campsite but because of the way the fields are laid out each one quite private with its own large shower block it didn’t feel as big as other sites we’ve been to.

Our tent pitch was on a slight slope - will try and request a flatter pitch for our next trip.

Fish and chip shop wasn’t great quality and felt overpriced for the food we had.

It was empty so very quiet

The facilities were a bit tired and dated to say the least. Very surprised that there was hardly anyone staying at this time of the year. The very slow internet was extortionately priced.

Very clean toilet and shower areas. Lovely washing up room with plenty of basins. A quiet pitch area with plenty of drinking water around.

Cost to use swimming pool (£4.50 pp)

Amusement arcade very dirty (lots of rubbish on floor)

Initially pitch allocated was opposite rubbish area

Smell of urine around the swimming pool area (was awful)

Shop closing at 5pm

No evening entertainment

Need transport to get to local beach (otherwise taxi cost £50 round trip)

Easy access, taken to my pitch by a member of staff, Toilets and shower clean. Very clean tidy site

Really lovely site. Facilities great with bar, restaurant , fish and chip shop and shop selling everything you need. Lovely walks. Toilet and shower block exceptionally clean at all times.

Showers were a tad small but useable.

Would be nice to have music in toilet blocks as at other sites.

Would need a car to get around as not on a bus route but if you just wanna kick back and do nothing then ideal.

I thought that horse riding was on site which pony's were. Unfortunately the weight limit wasn't clear and when I arrived I found that there was a nearby equestrian centre nearby. I booked in for the next day and the young lady on your reception tried her best to get me a taxi. With no taxis available I had to cancel my session. I did really only want this site for the horse riding. There was no entertainment. The pub food was awful. I first chose Chilli but had none second I chose jacket with tuna had no tuna. I ended up with burnt sausages and microwave mash. No cheesecake so I gave up. Also very expensive. My partner had ham egg and chips to be given two thinly sliced pieces of packet ham. The fields were virtually empty and later after we arrived another campervan with tent and transit van came and parked right next to us. That made no sense.
