Really nice place, the owners were very attentive. Half of the field is on a hill, if your staying on no electric tent field. Well spaced out pitches, although when the bank holiday rolled around, the pitches we have other tents almost on top of us, so not ideal. But it has a great shower/toilet block. Very close to Alton Towers, and pretty well located for anything else you need in the area. Ultimately we would stay here again definitely, but just not on a bank holiday.

Superb stay, lovely clean quite site, the facilities were imaculate, love the music playing in the toilet/shower rooms, gave a real sense of tranquility, toilet rolls were soooo soft😂. Hosts were very friendly and informative, love the relaxed atmosphere, great location for Alton Towers and walking in the district, cannot fault and recommend enough....was just perfect for what we needed for our stay.

Local (distant noise from quarry throughout the night) although you will get this from anywhere in the area.

Big campsite, relaxed atmosphere, clean facilities, and the owners are really really friendly. Will absolutely go again.

Very nice, well looked after campsite, lovely and helpful owners (I booked wrong weekend by mistake, no problem changing it to the correct one).
Highly recommended, especially recommended for families with children.

Really welcoming and friendly customer service upon arrival. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Maxine where she explained where everything was on the site and gave us a map with popular local places to visit.

Site Details:
Site is clean and well maintained.
The site itself is sectioned into different spaces for tipis, non electric pitches and tents so quite clear when finding where you need to go.
Pitches are quite spaced about so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other.
The views are amazing on the site and we had a really nice few days with the sunny weather.

For the kids:
There’s plenty of room for kids and young ones to play and ride their bikes without being in the way or disturbing others as well as multiple football pitches and a volley ball net.

Extras:
They provide a fire pit for £10 to rent as well as there also being some seated fire pit areas already laid out on the site.

Overall would definitely stay again as for the price and relaxed non commercial feel of the site it’s definitely one to stay at if your looking for somewhere in that area!

The only grumble was that we were given a pitch right next to the main road (Half wall between the pitch and the road so safe for kids) so the noise from that disturbed our son when he was sleeping at night but would just ask for a different pitch when booking again which I’m sure they wouldn’t have minded us asking had we known about the traffic from lorry’s and tractors.

The site is well laid out with the showers & toilets centrally located.
Leek isn't far for anything you might need.
Peaceful, well priced, great facilities.
Will definitely be back soon.
