Always an amazing experience. Nearest to wild camping ive experienced and fantastic lakes to swim in. Nice to see things developing! :)

It’s soooooooo quiet! Lovely scenery and lovely peace and quiet. I’ve been before and I’m staying here again. Very restful.

When I turned up on the Sunday afternoon to my horror it was full of people. Luckily they soon left and didn’t appear to be camping. Phew.

Lovely stay, amazing campsite in a lovely area, lots of space so you don’t feel like you’re next to people.

Toilets and showers are a bit far away, but I heard there’s plans to have them refurbed and built closer

Loved this site, the owner was very friendly. Toilets were clean and the campsite was lovely. Embraced the wild swimming, found it very relaxing and really enjoyed it. Cafe on site, there is a pot wash station for the campers and a shower for after your swim. Would definitely definitely come back

Beautiful surroundings, big spacious field, cafe, lakes (but didn’t swim).

The young jackdaw that terrorised my son! I know it was only young but it pecked… Apart from that would like more showers and maybe a toilet or two closer to the camping field.

Great place. beautiful open meadow pitch.really spacious and although very close to the swimming pools felt like it s own little world.defintely be regulars

With it being a relatively new venture which has proved very popular the toilet and showers need some work.but I know this is planned.

The lovely open field with the occasional fly pass of a kestrel or Barn owl.

The site is still undergoing improvements but they will be worth waiting for. Facilities need a bit of sorting out.The showers and toilet facilities were very clean early on but any customers walking in took gravel and mud directly into the area. Couple of mats and a mop for customers to use might help.

Very peaceful and lively lakes to swim in.
