So serene, lovely getaway for a few days. Great open water swimming lakes, not busy, camping field not overcrowded, lots of space.

Absolutely unbelievable!!! Stunning location. I actually begrudge writing a review because I want to keep this little tranquil location all to myself!! But, share we must. You cannot miss out on staying here.... swimming here or just having a little walk around. If I've had a hard day at work I'll be here relaxing on the banks next to beautiful lily filled lakes.
You have three lakes to choose from for some gentle swimming. An adult only lake and a couple of beautiful family lakes.
There's even a mini wooden sauna that you can pre book to use!!

I usually swim front crawl but had to swim breaststroke because I wanted to take in all the stunning views. Swimming gently next to ducks, herons and beautiful banks. Wow!!

I live 15 minutes away and plan on being a regular before and after work and throughout the summer. I can only imagine how beautiful it will be in the winter covered in white frost. Stunning!

The owners really should be proud of themselves. What a stunning, quiet and tranquil place... even when it's busy.

Absolutely nothing. There is nothing to dislike here. Just come and see for yourself.

The location, the swimming, being a Sunday evening it was nice and quiet, the wildlife.

Facilities (shower and toilets) are basic and I doubt adequate for when it is really busy.

Thw swimming lakes, brilliant, abd cafe does superb food

Blocked and overflowing chemical disposal point caused by thoughtless users dropping wet wipes which do not break down. Very thoughtless people, felt sorry for the owners who had to unblock.

Stunning Wild swimming and quite campsite with hardly anyone there. Will definitely be back!

Nice and quiet field surrounded by wildlife.

Thought it was abit unfair that you have to pay extra to swim when you're already paying to stay. Should at least be discounted.

Flat ground, plenty of space, away from main roads, private, clean facilities, onsite cafe with yummy food, great location to York.

Big pot holes, facilities a short distance away from tent field.

We stayed three days at Pool Bridge Farm - what a paradise! The swimming lakes are gorgeous and campsite spacious and peaceful. The cafe is lovely...and we even booked a sauna in the shepherd's hut. Will be back...the sooner the better.

Toilets and showers are being refurbed soon...grand :)

Large campsite which was fairly quiet while schools were still open. Enjoyed choosing our own pitch and the swimming lakes were beautiful.
Access to picnic benches and firepits created a nice atmosphere.

The toilets are quite a walk from the tent pitches which was unpleasant at night, and there was only one shower available.
There is no fishing on-site for non-members and swimming is expensive with no discount for campers if you buy on the day.

Totally fantastic place to stay!
