The campsite was just the right size, with hot showers and a cafe. Some highlights were taking refreshing dips in all of the three swimming lakes, the hot and cold experience of the sauna followed by a dip in the ‘M Lake’, the fire pits to warm your cockles at night, wood fire pizza and coffee in the onsite cafe and a very friendly bird who came to visit us on numerous occasions.N'a pas aimé : A tap in the main campsite area would be useful, or an extra toilet/shower block. A new mains water supply is to be installed to the farmstead so we can get water to the site. At present the water pressure is not great enough to do this. A new toilet block adjacent to the site is in the planning stages, so watch this space! Hooks we will sort out ASAP! :)
Excellent site and clean facilities. Gorgeous lake swimming.

Unfortunately, due to lack of demand, it is not economical to run the sauna mid-week in the summer, therefore it is only lit on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays, which I understand is disappointing if you are staying mid-week. We do offer 2-hour private sessions mid-week but these are not for everyone due to the cost if there is not a big group of you. We hope to see you again soon (and we will put a sauna session on for you if possible! :)
