The location was excellent for walking and 2 local pubs serving great food and the onside cafe had lovely food too. The new shower block was clean and warm.
The local cafe near the train station had an easy to use walking guide which we used a couple of times.

The local shop was shut for a couple of days while we were there but we had plenty of supplies.

Lovely clean site with beautiful views. New toilet and shower block is amazing, however the old one wasn’t that bad either. On site facilities are brilliant, the cafe is a great addition and brilliant for breakfast. The cafe and the 2 pubs both cater for gluten free food and alcohol, this was greatly appreciated! The bell tents were very comfortable and well stocked with everything you need, the surprise addition of electricity and an electric blanket topped off our stay. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you

I’ve stayed here before, however it has recently had a new toilet and shower block.
Site and management are superb.
This was my first time visiting with a friend and owners are very friendly and we we spent all day hiking and enjoying Kinder Scout.

Location,Location,Location. Greeted by the friendly team. Simple check in. Stunning scenery in all directions. Facilities on the campsite all modern and very clean. 10/10

Loved the atmosphere on camp and facilities were great. Pub and cafe were both walking distance as well which was great. Parking was right next to camping pitch

10/10 campsite. Perfect location if you love walking, the best on site facilities we’ve been too. Great cafe which also serves alcohol, bbqs on a Friday and fresh pizzas on a sat. Pub within a minutes walking distance which is also lovely. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. The views are amazing all round and on the field we stayed on you chose our own pitch which was good.

Nothing at all. Couldn’t get WiFi on the field we were on but honestly don’t know why anyone would need or want this with the views all around. If you do then you can pick it up by the cafe
