Beautiful and very clean place

It was a lovely pitch with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the kids could have a run around and have fun. The shower and toilets was spotless and always well stocked

That dogs was allowed to roam free where the tents was even though the rules state dogs on lead at all times

The lady owner was very friendly & made us feel very welcome. The site was lovely, a great play area for children.The toilet & shower areas were spotless.

Everything was new and clean! Playpark was brilliant, plenty of space

Drinking water tasted off egg and shower water stank of egg so had to mark down on cleanliness due to this and wouldnt recommend unless it was fixed as was a pain going to supermarket and buying lots of bottles

Cleanliness. Good facilities including bins, toilets and pot washing.
Good location close to Pickering, the coast and York.
Very modern s name of feel.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who told us where everything was and showed us which pitch was ours. The park is in the middle of the pitches which is excellent for the kids and adults can see them at all times. The toilets and showers were spotless. The Caravan park was also spotless. The long blonde haired lady never stopped bless her. It is situated between Malton and Thornton le Dale. Easy to get to. Overall fantastic site and we can't wait to come back next year.

Drainage... There wasn't anywhere to empty dirty water so everyone's water was just going out on the floor and because we were on the end it all drained down to our pitch so ours was constantly puddled with everyone's water and everyone else's was dry.

The night time curfew needs to be looked at. 10.30pm is too late to have kids screaming at the park. Especially if you have little ones trying to sleep.

Would have been good if there was wifi available at an extra charge but not a big deal.

We have just got back from a 2 night stay at Midsummer campsite and we had such a great time. The campsite is a lovely size giving enough room between tents and vehicles, gated round the field which is useful to keep the littles in one space! The facilities are great, toilets/showers always clean and stocked, pot washing room was fab and the playpark for the kids was a huge huge bonus!
Very child and Dog friendly site, it was lovely to see so many dogs enjoying their stay - my little girl loved watching them all. And the little black friendly cat that often wandered by our tent :)
We will definitely definitely return here and can’t fault anything! Thank you so much for having us.

Very well situated campsite with brilliant facilities. Well maintained and fabulous hosts. Rang ahead as was going to be late.

Not really a dislike, but no signage where to go to book in, no reception.
This really needs to be looked at.
