Lovely site, good layout, nice play area for younger children, football nets and badminton net, toilets and showers

Take bottled water, not nice from the tap

Good location, fairly quiet site, good showering facilities and price fair.

Sinks had an odour, site bins were overflowing.

Nice big pitches and great to have water as well as why on each pitch.

Could do with a few signs to locate grey waste and Elson point. Too many kids running across pitches and climbing over the fence into the camping area.

Clean and well maintained site.

When we got there someone was in our pitch so we at to move far away from toilet and as i can't walk far I couldn't use the toilet as my scooter couldn't get over the gravel

Pitches - combination of hard and grass…in excellent condition.

With extremely poor phone reception some WiFi would be good.

Nice area, nice pitch

Water had an odd smell, already explained in previous reviews, too many people and not enough loos and showers in peak season/summer holidays, bit of a free for all in tent area and large groups of people taking a lot of space.

Location - super for family day trips

Water smelled like eggs - we brought our own drinking water so not a massive issue for us but glad we were prepared.

Well maintained pitches . Good location for exploring North Yorkshire.

Toilets and shower area needs investing in and updating. On a busy weekend in August, there were far too many people on site for 3 toilets.

We loved this site, signs displayed for when arrive to ring a number. The lady on the phone was lovely and let us pick our pitch as she knew we had kids to let us be close to the park. The park had lots to do and my kids loved it. Thornton-le-Dale is only down the road too and the kids loved the ice cream and chocolate shop.

There was a man there all week keeping on top of the site, cleaning the park, picking up any rubbish, cleaning toilets and showers. He done an excellent job.

Only downfall was the water was a bit funny (slimy) and I wouldn’t recommend drinking it even though there was a sign on the pitch tap saying drinking water. However on pitchup.com it is stated it wasn’t drinking water and we did bring our own.
