The site itself was really nice and was well maintained, clean and tidy, with a small play park with a goal for the kids.

The water wasn't drinkable and had a very eggy smell to it, having a shower left you feeling slimy.
From this the bathrooms had a lingering eggy smell which wasn't pleasant.
There is no phone signal or WiFi on this site

Shower / toilet blocks could do with an update and not enough of them !! The water was cloudy and not drinkable but hopefully this will be rectified in time.

Running water on site - was told this had been sent off for testing but results had not come back and to assume it is not safe for human consumption. Water was cloudy, felt slimey and smelt like rotten eggs.

Lovely friendly staff, nice location and good overall facilities.

Whereas there are 3 self contained shower units with toilets, there is only 1 toilet on its own. This did cause a bit of a problem in the mornings.

Lovely site with great facilities. Showers and toilets were clean and tidy. Good location for visiting local towns and attractions. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the peace of the weekend was shattered by a group of families (camping in the adjacent field) with what politely can only be described as unruly children. I have absolutely no problem with kids playing, and I'm certainly not a "grouch" as we have 5 grandchildren, but the noise! Screaming, football bouncing off our cars and caravans (our daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren were with us in their caravan). The kids wrecked a play house (pushed some windows out) and broke a baby swing banging against it's frame. My wife informed the site owner of the vandalism and she dealt with it quickly. All this didn't make for the peaceful relaxing weekend we had hoped for and planned. This was by no means a reflection on the site or the owners, but to be woken up at 7am on a Sunday morning by a child screaming (in a pitch a banshee would be proud of) as they are running about outside your caravan is not my idea of relaxation. Luckily the families and their kids left the site about 9am on the Sunday morning, however we were leaving that day at 10am. So thank you campers for making our stay at midsummer a memorable one.
