Liked how quiet the site was, cafe on site great food great for a ilfishing weekend good sized pitches, water at each pitch good electric supply not one trip all weekend,
Toilet shower block was always warm clean and modern, bins plenty on site

Not much to dislike however entry road had loads of deep potholes need urgent attention

Location being local.
Reception staff friendly on arrival.
Basic amenities.
Water on hook up.
Electric good supply and accessible.
Refuse bins plenty on site.
Great for fishing (though we never fished).

Toilets clean but lots of cobwebs.
10am check out would ideally liked 11am.
Weather (really cold and windy), obviously no fault of site.

Easy to find , just off motorway. Shower block and loo area very nice, clean , spacious… looks new

Lane into pitches had massive pot holes all along which isn’t great for a loaded motorhome ! Fire hose didn’t work ( we needed a long hose as grass was too boggy to drive closer to normal water ). Water points were on the grass quite a way from the hard standing pitch ! It poured all night , which caused lots of bogging ! We had to walk on it to get water . Lots of work going on , so I’m sure it’ll all be lovely one day. Didn’t meet any staff over the two days as shop / reception shut after 4/5pm.

Beautiful views of the lakes, very clean spacious showers and toilet block. Friendly staff and lovely cafe on site.

Campsite is lovely with great views of the lakes.

Shower piping hot but why oh why don’t campers treat facilities with respect….mud in the shower (could do with a mop being handy guys), and someone clearly couldn’t read the no smoking sign!!

Outlook, staff friendliness

Toilets weren't 100%, but to be fair, I saw other visitors totally ignoring the rules, so probably the cause.

Beautiful views of the lakes, great park for the children, kids loved the goats and chickens. Outstanding shower block.

Unable to walk the dogs around the lakes (however do understand the reasons for this). We just would have loved to be able to have enjoyed the lovely scenery whilst walking the dogs. Pitches quite close together and lots of pot holes on arrival. Some motorway noise but that wasn’t a big problem.

Must of had problems with hot water in showers and sinks. Very nice and claen well presented facilities. pity about the water
