Campsite is lovely with great views of the lakes.

Shower piping hot but why oh why don’t campers treat facilities with respect….mud in the shower (could do with a mop being handy guys), and someone clearly couldn’t read the no smoking sign!!

Outlook, staff friendliness

Toilets weren't 100%, but to be fair, I saw other visitors totally ignoring the rules, so probably the cause.

Beautiful views of the lakes, great park for the children, kids loved the goats and chickens. Outstanding shower block.

Unable to walk the dogs around the lakes (however do understand the reasons for this). We just would have loved to be able to have enjoyed the lovely scenery whilst walking the dogs. Pitches quite close together and lots of pot holes on arrival. Some motorway noise but that wasn’t a big problem.

Great site plenty space. Lovely outlook over lakes. Clean and fairly modern shower/toilet block with hairdryer as bonus. Quiet and peaceful despite proximity to motorways. Easy access to site. Pitches all have direct water connections.

Lot of work going on so lot of mud around but additional matting helped. Some debris/rubbish on pitches around site so it looked a little messy but not huge issue.

Nice toilet facilities, unfortunately not cleaned once during our entire stay (six days).
Great deal of traffic noise from nearby motorway.

November stay so weather was cold and wet. The lakes were muddy but attractive as they have been landscaped - must be lovely in summer. There is a goat and chicken enclosure with the cutest chickens ever. Very good BT/EE 4g signal so mobile data performance was excellent. Note: no WiFi. Each pitch has its own ehu, fresh water tap and grey waste drain but they are such a long way from the gravel area you can’t plumb them in.

The nearby motorway is noisy and the driveways are made of reclaimed materials so have potholes. This makes the site look bleak at this time of year. The toilet and shower block is small and modern but needs tlc.
