Hard standing, lake view

Toilet block smelt (looked like one was broke though), grumpy fisherman, power off in the morning and not being sorted before we left

First ever trip out in our caravan, facilities were good here, clean toilet and shower block. Washing up area was great, we couldn't get our water supply working so was really glad that was available! Had a tap on our pitch aswell which also helped massively. We will definitely come back again. Our camping neighbours were all lovely too

The fact you cant walk around the lakes with your dog

A lot of noise from the M69 which is right next to the site. Work currently going on so there's escavators etc parked up next to the camping fields.

Looked to go into the on site cafe but all tables were full.

Beautiful place. Arrived late and it wasn't a bother. Facilities were good. Cafe on site and all staff very friendly.

The track to the camping field had a few bits of sharp cans and plastic.

The showers didn't have a detachable hose so a bit tricky for us girls if not washing our hair.

clean, nice lakes to walk, relaxing, quite at night, easy to access.

A gorgeous location which was very tidy and well kept. Everybody was respectful, the staff very kind and social and even if you are not there for fishing, it is still a beautiful place to be. Fantastic value for money for the location and the views you get.

This location is close to a busy road. It didn't really bother us much and not exactly much Makin can do about it, just worth mentioning.

Secondly just a suggestion. The signposting for non electric camping could do with being moved. Extra accommodation is being built to expand, which is fine, this has however obscured the sign for the camping field and we carried on the wrong way initially.

Easy to find location. Friendly staff, great clean facilities. Awesome showers..
