Clean showers with under floor heating really tidy

We booked a grass electric pitch and it's the pitches here are huge, for convenience we ended up sharing a pitch to be closer to friends and there was still plenty of space. Toilet and Shower blocks are clean, modern and warm. Check-in was a breeze. No noise overnight from campers. Dog friendly on the campsite itself. Onsite cafe reasonably priced cooked meals and snacks - great milkshakes!

Toilet block ceilings and washing up area needs the bugs/flys/spiders cleaning, but not too bad. EHU pitches are double the price of non-EHU regardless of grass or hardstanding in peak season, seems slightly higher than average uplift for us tent dwellers compared to caravans and campers.

Nice flat clean site lots of space. Clean toilet block well maintained and the staff were friendly and approachable. Fishing was very good and the lakes are immaculate.

Even though dogs are welcome you are not allowed to take them for a walk around the lakes, this rule seems buried on their website, this really limits dogs to the camp-field only.

The non electric site was clearly having some work done on it but very limited space, wasn’t aware of this when booking.

Big pitches, perfect site if you love fishing. Some good rules that made for a quiet and relaxing stay.

Dirty facilities, toilets and showers were not cleaned at all during my stay and smelt bad. Ladies toilets ran out of toilet roll. No attendants around at all. Only 2 men’s showers and 2 mens toilet cubicles. Taps in sink barely work or full blast being the only 2 settings.

left to pick own camping spot and close to the toilets. Was nice to walk around the fishing pools.

The pitches were far too close together for the electrical pitches and not very even surfaces, We spent the majority of Friday and Saturday having a ball kicked at our tent and car. (We know this isn't the places fault). The Saturday evening there was no toilet paper in the whole of the toilets, it was brought down about 7.30am Sunday morning. The motorway is quite close so even of a night time it is quite noisy but if you can block it out, then it's not much of an issue.
Also on the part where you camp there are some static caravans, where you can't tell if people privately own them or they rent them out, but a guy who was staying in them was acting rather strange around the tents and vans that were left there unoccupied while they went out of the evening.

everything you need for a short stay is here for a little fishing weekend.
the little goats are the cutest to pop over and say hello too and my husband enjoyed the fishing.
we had to leave a day early sadly as the weather/storm was so bad and our awning was hit by thunder and lightening but that cant be helped good old British summer !

Dirty toilets and showers.
Hard standing pitches were not level and were essentially a bit of flattened hardcore.
Advertised as dog friendly, signs say no dogs around the fisheries, which is the majority of the site.
We booked and paid for three nights but left after one. Never again.m

Nice and peaceful, some of the better showering facilities I have seen in a while and was always clean, under floor hearing in the shower rooms was a nice surprise.
