We did not even bother pitching the tent it was so bad and moved to a campsite a mile down the road which was beautiful. Asked for our money back as it wasn’t advised how noisy it was and was told no. Also asked if we could pitch somewhere else on the site but not permitted. Definitely one to avoid for camping. The fisheries looked nice though if that’s all you are after
Good Morning Cat. Unfortunately we cant help that we are located next to the M69. Yes you can hear the noise from the motorway but as you were checking in Friday afternoon, the motorway noise will be generally louder. The noise does reduce down in the evenings. Our campsite is always busy and we never have complaints about the motorway noise. You asked if you could pitch on a fully serviced pitch, this was not possible due to us being fully booked. We have set rules in place like every other campsite you go to. I feel your review of our campsite is very unfair as you have left straight away. We have many families attending our campsite every weekend who leave excellent reviews, so you leaving us 2 stars is very unfair.
