Pitches are quite close together so yappy dogs can be abit annoying but I'm sure dog lovers would say the same about our toddlers lol

Big open plots, great staff, activities were great. Shop and food had good prices.

Would be good to have a place for just jumping I'm and swimming without having to pay. (Exercise activities should be free really).

Would be amazing with some more stuff for younger kids as my 3 yrs old could only do boat and paddle board

Nice safe environment for first time campers with young children. Happy to let my daughter play with minimal supervision.

Grounds of the campsite could do with slight gardening maintenance eg nettles

We camped here for 4 nights. Myself and my three girls age 4,9,11 and my friends with her two children 10,12.

We booked on the boats as all the children could join in with this activity and they all enjoyed it, the older children then did archery and axe throwing which they enjoyed too.

The site is kept clean and tidy, the toilet and shower block were cleaned throughout the day by staff which was good.

Security patrolled on our first night at the weekend but there not there all the time.

The children enjoyed the walk to the nearby skate park with their scooters across the fields and my younger two enjoyed seeing a couple of horses that were housed in on of the fields.

We didn't really have any dislikes all I would say is the children's archery session was cut short because of people trying to book Wowcher codes in the reception for the aqua park which meant there wasn't enough staff to deal with it so they only did 20 mins however my friend mentioned this after to the staff and as her two children did the axe throwing they were given an extra 10 minutes on that.

Not a complaint just something to be mindful of.

A great family friendly site with lots to do, from paid activities to play parks and open space for running around. The clubhouse had a variety of games, the food and drinks were nice, and the shop had a good stock of pocket-money friendy toys.
The site felt safe, it was well managed, and the shower and toilet facilities were cleaned multiple times per day.

A few people not respecting rules, but appreciate this is beyond the site's control.

The campsite was very cosy, tree’s around for the kids to run around be adventurous.
The toilet block was clean enough, there was also a mop left out for any dirty feet prints.
Two parks on site and then there’s a massive field and a little park and skate park to the side.
Felt very safe with security going around at night. By 10/10.30 every night all you could hear was the birds.
Cafe/ shop on site reasonable price.
Now the aqua park was fantastic, the kids and adults loved it! Very much worth the money. We didn’t have chance to do the other activity’s but we will be back so will try do them then.

A fantastic site to sit and relax around a campfire and play games with the family!

Lovely place to stay with the family. We went in our caravan and was a worth while visit. The shared facilities were great despite the amount of people staying on site. Pitches were a good size. Very simple site but ideal for what we wanted which was a halfway point to meet with friends in their campervan. We would stay again.

I only live 3 miles away but it’s our chilled happy place we try to go as many times a season as possible the activities are great the shop is great the staff are amazing and really helpful
