Cleanliness, facilities and location

The pitches were spacious and I liked that they weren't muddy and had a path around the campsite. My daughter loved the park and amenities nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of hot water and the toilet blocks were clean and warm. This is our second stay and would definitely go back again. The shop is well stocked and we also had takeaway from there which was lovely.

The parks on site were great and the shop was really good value for money! Having the activities on site is great too!

There needs to be more facilities. Both mornings I had to stand in a long que for the toilet. There needs to be more individual toilets on there own without showers.

The pitch could be raked to move big rock and sticks

was well kept site mainly quiet although only a few miles from home could have been anywhere , kids love all the water activities

Amazing campsite especially for young children. It was our first time camping and we loved it. Amenities were plentiful, toilets and shower facilities were clean and keep clean throughout the day. Staff were very helpful. Lovely little shop. We did Paddleboarding, Aqua park and the golden did wall climbing and we throughly enjoyed every activity. I world really recommend this camp site for families with young children, my children made lots of new friends and fun memories.

Quite bright with all the lighting at night with some of the electrical point lighting shining directly in your pitch.

Close to motorway so you have s little traffic noise at night.

Paid wifi had poor signal

Good sized pitches, layout and onsite lake facilities where a great bonus.

Proximity to the M18 was loud at night either nightmare for some or white noise for others

Great location to visit York, Doncaster, Hull, Sheffield

Activities on site were well run and enjoyable

Facilities were clean, shop was open good hours

Good playground for kids

Queues for toilets at shower time were a little long on a few days since all the toilets have showers in them

Climbing, archery were quite short sessions for the price

Just a suggestion, might be good to give campers a discount on the activities to encourage uptake!
