The lady who booked us in and showed us to our pitch, she’s a credit to the company. The convenience to Shrewsbury was great, 15 minute walk. Toilet block, washing up room was clean & modern.

Very warm welcome from Sue, useful information on arrival and supplied with welcome pack. Grounds well kept and very peaceful settings.

One family turning up on 2 occasions during our 1 day stay just to use the showers on site. Another camper told us that they had also turned up to use the laundry. I do not blame the person on duty for not confronting them, not sure if she was aware.
This is the only negative of our visit.

Quiet site, Sue was very friendly and explained everything to us, our first visit here but will be back. The new shower block by the the older Ladies toilets block was great. Wifi struggled a bit, could do with a stronger signal.
Even with events on it was still very quiet very impressed by this.
Would not use the older ladies toilet block although very clean just because the age of this facility

Proximity to town and the lovely walk along river to get there. Pitches are a good size and hard standing with water and electricity to each pitch.

The site needs to decide whether it’s a campsite or a car park. We stayed for 3 nights and each evening from 5.30 - 8pm we were hemmed in by cars parking to attend a kids singing show. This prevented us from sitting out and enjoying a bbq with any privacy. Also the kids arrived earlier in the day and were using the porta cabin bathrooms along with the toilet blocks so any need to use meant queuing up for long periods. I do think that the bathrooms should be for the sole use of campers. Also there was no soap or towels to wash and dry hands. Expensive for what it is.
