Great location to get into Shrewsbury 15 mins walk although dark in winter so torch required and good footwear. Good welcome on arrival with plenty of information provided. It is a show ground more over a caravan site pitches good and level. Recommend extra long electric cable as electric point can be a long way from pitch. Toilet blocks are old and very “rustic” but clean and functional. The showers are in a portable block again clean and functional. Car boot sale on the show ground on a Sunday. Will stop again for location to town.

7.30am on Sunday morning plant machinery moving on site to which I feel is to early.

Really friendly welcome, great facilities and close to town, we did a lovely walk to the weir and all along the river back to the site.

Close proximity to the town centre.

Neighbouring campers were setting off extremely loud fireworks which stressed our dog out and he wouldn’t settle or stop barking. As a result we left that evening. I wouldn’t stay this time of year. No staff appeared to ask them to stop, unsure if any staff on site after 5pm which has put us off staying again or recommending to stay this time of year.

The site is genuinely only 15 mins walk from the town centre & railway station. Turn right out of gate 2 and take the signed footpath.
It is generally peaceful and the setting is rural.
There is plenty of space for larger motorhomes and access is good.
Hardstanding is tidy and level.
Grass is kept at a sensible length.
The staff are friendly & helpful.
The information pack that you are given on arrival is very useful.
The new shower and toilet pod is a welcome addition.

The facilities are not really adequate in number if the site is busy.
The older facilities are dilapidated and not pleasant to use.
The floors in the new facilities pod get wet throughout when the shower is used. A lip on the shower area or a raised grid mat in the toilet/wash area would help.
The addition of a shelf on which to store your wash/shaving kit & additional hooks on which to hang your clothes would be a welcome addition.
The price of the pitch - (£35) - in my experience is excessive.
No option when booking to request a non-electric pitch.

Great pitches very level, electric and water close by. Toilet block basic but clean and very functional. Shower block was great.

Our 2nd time here.
Fabulous location, just a short walk into the town centre.
Good size pitches, good space in-between and electric hookup and water. Was able to drive on site to any available pitch, friendly greeting on arrival.
Shower, toilet and sink individual units in kind of porta cabins but very clean, warm and good powered shower loads of hot water.

Nothing to dislike about the site at all!
Path into town can be very muddy and slippy in wet weather so be careful.

The hard standing was great - hookup and water close, opposite the toilets, very quiet site and a great walk along the river into town. Good WiFi across the site as well.

Showers and toilets are basic but functional

Spacious tidy level pitch, friendly warden and proximity to town. Great location as we were able to avoid the terrible traffic in Shrewsbury and walk past everyone queuing due to the roadworks. Wifi signal good.

Nothing really - facilities are basic but clean

A handy spot for Shrewsbury, this established site is large and peaceful. The on site staff are very friendly and when the power tripped in the shower block, they fixed it straight away. The shower blocks were clean and with plenty of hot water. We didn't use it, but there is an on site launderette with washing machine and tumble dryers. WiFi coverage is OK, but a bit slow. The site appears to be very secure.

Lots of dogs off the lead and that included an XL Bully type breed. Disappointingly, there was the occasional dog mess on the grass.
