Brilliant, beautiful natural surroundings

Close to a show we were heading for, so useful for the one night.

Others may like this site, the ones with Families etc, but it was not for us really.
There was lot of noise, cars revving up, people shouting and dogs barking well after 10pm. There was a lot of rubbish around left by inconsiderate people, obviously not bothered about anyone else.
The entrance to the site is tricky and somewhat dangerous, we had cars to the left and right of us all backed up waiting for us to clear the road, would be good if this could be made wider or another easier way in.

Really wild camping. We all loved the river. Toilets were sufficient and kids liked the foose-ball table.

Very busy and felt quite cramped.

It was easy ❤️❤️ camped central, river wasn’t far at all, had a super camping holiday with the big kids and little kids. Family included. What a great campsite ⛺️

Such a great location for getting together with friends ….. chilled vibe, pitch where you like and perfect for being close to the river for paddle boarding etc.

Shame the rope swing had to go but love the addition of the table top games - these were a hit for my boys!

My only dislike is having to take dog poo home with us …. not nice in a hot van in the heat. I understand not having lots of bins but one for dog poop would be appreciated.

The river was lovely, great for paddling with the kids. Reasonable price.

Not quite ‘wild’ camping. A big and very busy field full of big groups partying until 1am. Drunk people walking around swearing and various piles of dog poo left laying around. Apparently the rules include no loud music played at all but there was a lot of loud music and people shouting until very late! Not great with 3 small kids.

Not a thing.

Amazing view, birds singing, quiet site with swimming in the Avon kids loved every minute. Dirty dusty very happy children topped off by a campfire with marshmallows. Bliss
