Dislike how intrusive other campers were

We loved area with access to river. Lots of space.

For the price we paid there is no reason for complaining however it’s not easy to find as there is no sign and gps was lost. It would be nice if there would be a playground but overall very nice stay as weather was excellent

Found a beautiful little spot right beside the river, first time camping with our baby and it was all perfect - except maybe the weather but that may be out of the sites control haha!

The area is near the shops and the place was very nice no rubbish around. We can enjoy the swimming in the river, kids can play in the groups, the people been very friendly around. The price was really good no fees for dogs. We felt safe around surroundings we had privacy from others as well. Kids wants to come back again. Toilets been cleaned and the toilet paper been replaced every day.

Great communication from the owner. The firewood/pits were easy to get to and to buy, the site itself was well kept and larger than we expected while the river was a god-send in the hot weather.

2 out of 4 toilets clogged while we were there so there were some queues in the morning, but nothing major!

Laid back atmosphere, loads of room - groups could put their tents in a circle and not bother others. Everyone was well behaved, went quiet at dark even tho we were expecting several parties to be making noise!

Very old fashioned camping experience.

Lots of families, children made lots of new friends. Bumped into the site manager - lovely people.

River is lovely, not too deep or wide, slow flowing. Easy to get into and so clear! Children and adults alike loved it on the hot days. Bring your canoe, paddle board, kayak etc!!

No water on site or showers. Such a shame as even a cold outdoor shower would have been awesome to wash off after messing about in the river or to freshen up after putting the tent out in 29degC heat. Cant complain as they make it very clear that you have to bring your own water and do state there are no showers.

The entrance to get in is a bit hairy - fast road and you have to stop in the middle of it to then open the gate.

Lovely and peaceful and I saw a kingfisher for the first time and an otter. My second stay here and love it.
