Toilets always clean. Ground is flat. Plenty of space. River is great entertainment for young children.

Shame about the rope swing being taken down. One of the play teepees was overgrown so couldn’t be used.

Stayed here for the 2nd time last weekend and won’t be the last.
This time there were 6 adults and 4 kids.
Toilets were always clean and plenty of toilet paper. Manager polly always around if you need to speak to her.
River runs along side the campsite, kids and adults enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding, fishing etc.

Our first time camping with our young children was absolutely magical. We hired one of the bell tents so was more of a glamping experience. It was so beautifully furnished and felt so homely. We also had a fire pit, dining table and chairs and a sofa!
The kids loved taking their boat on the river and paddling in it, we set up hammocks and rope swings and toasted marshmallows in the fire. They just loved being wild and free.
The only facility’s are the toilets which are clean and perfectly functional but if you’re brave enough you can freshen up in the river!
This site has various local amenities within a five min drive but we didn’t leave.
The hostess, Polly was absolutely wonderful, she came and introduced herself and told us to make ourselves at home which we felt instantly. She was also kind enough to lend me her own citronella candle although I never had cause to use it.
It was great value for money too.
We plan to return as soon as we can.

I had a superb experience camping at this site I was impressed with the facilities and the friendliness that I received, the surroundings were very natural full with nature I couldn’t ask for more

The campsite was very peaceful, whilst easy to find felt very remote. The toilets were also always very clean. There is a few pubs within walking distance which was also nice

Beautiful, tranquil campsite surrounded by nature. We were able to choose where we pitched up in our campervan amidst wooded areas next to the river. We didn't want to leave!

Nothing to dislike.

Amazing site, back to basics at its best.
Kids loved having the river nearby to explore and the bugs!
Top top of an active day we played games and had a fire with smores.
We loved it. So few sites let you have a fire these days.

Our second time staying, and we have booked again, we came with friends and family. The site is relaxed, well laid out and is fantastic for the kids! Quiet time is between 10 pm and 6.30 am - kids are kids, camping is supposed to be fun and if you stay up all night drinking then that's on you - kids aren't going to wait until you get up.

The river is always a hit with adults and kids alike. Polly is fab and always very helpful. We had no problem with other people's dogs or kids, and late night noise was handled by Polly (the on site manager).

Toilets were always clean, and the centre of the field was empty. We stayed 10th to 12th June. Other campers were polite and friendly. Go on, book it, you'd be mad not to for that price!

Extremely noisy field.
Plenty of children screaming 😱 from 7am.
I do camp since I was 7. I was always told that it is very rude to be noisy if other people are still sleeping. So yes, field full of rude parents with noisy children 🤷🏻‍♀️ good for families tho.
