Great location. Plenty of space between pitches and the key ingredient is the river Avon running through, the kids spent all weekend playing in the water. Lovely staff who are happy to chat and just a generally nice atmosphere about the place . 100% coming back.

We've been returning every year since Avon camping opened and find it like a little piece of heaven on our doorstep! We only live ten minutes away however Avon camping is always our go to as it's the perfect escape with having the river to play in. You could really feel a difference in the site this year now that they have the site manager Polly living on site, she is really lovely and an asset to Avon camping. It is such a laid back feel at the site with the freedom to pitch wherever you like and as a single parent I found everyone there so welcoming offering for us to join them at their fire pits on the evening. It just had the most wonderful atmosphere and vibe this year so much so that we returned later in the week also! The toilets all have lovely funky wallpaper in which was really nice! They don't feel like campsite toilets at all as they are all gorgeous! I couldn't recommend Avon camping any more than I do! We will hopefully be returning for many more years.

My only dislike is the disrespect the minority show towards the campsite and other campers. Like I say this is an absolute minority. I don't understand how anyone can think it's okay to leave their rubbish and cause disruption to other guests! Such a shame! This is of course no reflection on the campsite/owner as unfortunately you get people like this everywhere.

Great place to pitch a tent. Plenty of space to choose where to set up camp.
The setting by the river is idyllic, the whole family enjoyed fishing with nets and making the most of the rope swings.Quiet at night,everyone was respectful of their neighbours.
Facilities were great and clean,loved the funky wallpaper in the toilets.
Excellent price for one night’s camping. Already planning a stay for next year with more family.
Would highly recommend.

Toilet blocks basic

This campsite is very chilled, I turned up at about 7pm and set up, set up a little fire pit and settled in! Toilets were clean and campsite was tidy.

The only real thing I can find to comment on would be that the gate is tricky to open while stopped on the main road and is was tight to get into BUT that’s really scraping the barrel to find something to comment on and there’s not much you can do about it!

Lovely spot, not far from a large supermarket. Camped here last year and again this year. Will definitely be back next year!
