Lakeside Camping Village Lake Placid is on the coast of Abruzzo in a convenient location, overlooking a small lake and only a short walk from the nearby sand beach. This family-friendly is also suitable for solo travellers and couples looking for a little glamour at affordable prices. On-site facilities include a restaurant specialised in Mediterranean cuisine with a menu varying from delicious seafood recipes and oven-baked pizzas to meaty and vegetarian options. There is also a great wine list including Montepulciano, Trebbiano and Sangiovese. The restaurant has a spacious covered terrace with lakeside views. Take-away service is available. During high season, the multilingual staff organises various activities for children. Adults can also enjoy a bit of fishing, sunbathing on the beach and barbecuing meals. . The campsite is only a short bike ride away from a major supermarket, an off-licence, a chemist and a Post Office. Each morning a baker and a greengrocer visit the site with their vans. The beach is minutes away and is serviced with beach umbrellas and sunloungers, available for hire at a small fee. The shallow waters are ideal for families with children and the long beach is the perfect spot for a bit of jogging or an evening stroll.
