Glamping Sainte-Suzanne

A aimé Lovely location. Short walk through fields to the beautiful medieval town. Small supermarket within walking distance with a Super U hypermarket 5 mins drive away. Lovely swimming pool next door that is free to use. Pitches are level and a good size, spotless loo and shower block. Owners are very friendly and relaxed. Take away pizza service on site - good value and tasty.
Highly recommended.

N'a pas aimé Tent pitch was right next to kids park so very noisy. You could also hear the exercise class and their music super loud. The ground wasnt grass but soil so hard to get pegs in.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Merci d’avoir pris le temps de partager votre retour après votre passage dans notre camping. Nous regrettons que votre expérience n’ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes, même si vous n’y avez séjourné qu’une seule nuit.
Nous tenions à vous rappeler que le cours d’aquagym n'a duré que 45 minutes, et qu’il était annoncé sur notre programme d’animations.
L’aire de jeux est effectivement à proximité de l’emplacement que vous occupiez, néanmoins, à 21h, les enfants étaient tous rentrés…
Par ailleurs, cette année, la sécheresse a malheureusement affecté l’état du sol, rendant certains emplacements moins souples qu’habituellement. Nous faisons notre possible pour l’améliorer malgré les aléas climatiques.
Enfin, nous nous permettons de vous rappeler que le solde de votre séjour n’a pas été réglé lors de votre départ. Nous vous remercions par avance de régulariser cette situation

A aimé Very friendly welcome, shown to pitch. Info leaflet on the area, info of the walks and cycling around the area. Lovely clean toilets and showers. Does have a bar and pizza available to order we didn't use so cannot comment. You can use the municipal swimming pool next door but we didn't use so can't comment. A tiny walk up a bank to the local village. A couple of great bars, waitress staff were very friendly. Lovely small quiet campsite run by a lovely couple.

N'a pas aimé The showers are pull cord so bit of a faff, pull cord then if let go water stops, so have to keep holding . I Understand its to help the environment, but a faff.

Regarding the pull-down showers, we understand that this system can sometimes seem less practical. As you may have guessed, this is an environmentally friendly choice to limit water waste.

A aimé Incredibly helpful and friendly. The village shops too. I was sad on leaving that I couldn’t stay longer. I was lucky to be near the office and circulation so there was an energy and buzz.

N'a pas aimé That’s difficult. The pitches were earthy rather than grass. I do like grass.

Regarding your comment about the pitches, you're absolutely right: usually very green, they suffered greatly this year from the drought and the repeated visits of vacationers during the summer. We hope that nature will soon return to its usual colors for everyone's comfort.

A aimé We're just back after a fantastic week in the safari tent for 4 people. It's a small site which we loved with lots of space around each tent. The owners are lovely and helpful. The small playground was great for the kids and the use of the pool next door any time was great. They serve amazing pizzas, delivered to your door. 5-10 min walk in to the village. Tent itself is great, kids bunk bed room tiny but absolutely fine. Lots of storage, well equipped, huge terrace. Shower excellent! Would highly recommend

N'a pas aimé Crockery was bit limited, 4 of everything meant no extra plates/cutlery for serving etc.
Tent is hot in heat and cold when cooler, so pack for both!
No free Wi-Fi, not essential but felt a bit mean to charge for this

A aimé Eco friendly site, quiet respectful guests when we stayed. Free access to municipal pool is great. 10 min walk to the beautiful village.

Regarding toilet paper, it is, of course, provided free of charge, and we check the restrooms three times a day. During busy periods, it may run out more quickly, although we do our best to ensure everything remains available and comfortable for everyone.

A aimé Amazing site, clean, quiet and situated in a lovely little town. Plenty of trail walks to explore the medieval town. Great size pool that is shared between a couple of sites.

N'a pas aimé Not much other than the pool for the children, the pool opening times are short and closes for lunch. When you have two children that love the pool it makes it difficult.

A aimé De camping, de plek en de ligging, vlakbij mooie wandel- en fietspaden en het dorp Sainte Suzanne.
Veel informatie over de omgeving, ‘s ochtends liggen de bestelde broodjes klaar in een mandje.
Lekker rustig, eigenaar maakte zelf pizza’s, hij/zij brengt ze bij je kampeerplek of op het terras bij de camping, en een ijsje als dessert!

N'a pas aimé Het sanitair zag er netjes uit, helaas kwam er erg weinig water uit de douchekraan, beetje jammer.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hartelijk dank dat u de tijd heeft genomen om uw ervaring te delen! We zijn blij dat u de ligging van de camping, de nabijheid van wandel- en fietspaden en onze kleine extra's zoals de ochtendmand en zelfgemaakte pizza's zo waardeert.

Wat de douches betreft, u heeft gelijk: we hebben deze zomer een technisch probleem ondervonden waardoor de waterdoorstroming mogelijk beperkt was. Dit is inmiddels verholpen en het water stroomt nu weer normaal. Bedankt dat u het ons laat weten; het helpt ons om te verbeteren.

We kijken ernaar uit u weer te verwelkomen voor een nog aangenamer verblijf in Sainte-Suzanne!
