Glynmarch Farm

A aimé : Fantastic location deep in the most pristine Welsh countryside. You pretty much have the run of the farm and you can explore down to the totally wild stretch of stream down in the valley. The numerous trees are gorgeous and the views from the camping field are captivating. Campsite facilities done and maintained perfectly, with warm solar showers open to the sky and really good compost loos. Had a nice couple of chats with the friendly and very interesting owners… Excellent gastro/real ale-pub 3 miles away the Black Lion at Abergorlech. Confusingly, there is a pub of the same name nearer the campsite in llansawel, but the one at Abergorlech is worth the short treck… make sure to book 😊

A aimé : Lovely views and a very peaceful location. Good facilities, and very friendly host. Local pub in walking distance, but you need a torch to find your way back.

A aimé : We arrived early in the season and had the place to ourselves, which was a real treat. The owner was really friendly and kind, and was happy to talk to us about the local area. The pitch was on the hillside, with short grass areas for tents and sections left for wildflowers, and a short walk down to the river below. All the facilities were clean, well presented and easy to use. The view of the hills opposite is spectacular, and the site is very peaceful and quiet, with nothing but the sound of birds and sheep.

A aimé : Hosts were very welcoming, and the location is simply stunning… a quiet valley, where you are serenaded by lambs and bird song. What a peaceful place. Clearly run by people who care about what they’re doing. They took a chance on having a solo biker stay (many wouldn’t when I was hunting for a stop over), and if any other site owners want to know how to do a compost toilet properly, visit this site. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

A aimé : Beautiful, quiet, secluded spot. Nice washing, toilet and shower facilities.

N'a pas aimé: No sign from main road so I rode straight past the turning on my bike. Added a few unwanted Km to my day!

A aimé : This was our second stay there. Very welcoming staff, love the scenery, great pitches, good facilities. Drinking water at multiple taps around the site. Will definitely come back.

A aimé : The perfect campsite! The owner is super friendly & nothing is a problem. He's very laid back & that spills over into the general atmosphere of the campsite. The facilities are spotlessly clean. The views & night skies are stunning & the riverside location make this the best campsite ever!
