A aimé I stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better break. The site is really peaceful with loads of space between pitches, so it never felt crowded even though it was a busy weekend. The views across the countryside were stunning, and it was lovely to sit around the firepit in the evening and just enjoy the quiet.

The facilities are basic but exactly as described – clean loos, water points, and firewood available on site. Everything was tidy and well looked after, and it all added to the “back-to-basics” charm of the place. I really liked that it still felt like proper camping rather than a packed holiday park.

The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and you could tell they genuinely care about the site. Location-wise it’s perfect – a short drive to Trowbridge and the White Horse, and some great walks straight from the campsite itself.

Overall, it was exactly what I wanted: simple, relaxing, good value, and a proper escape from the day-to-day. I’d definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a peaceful camping trip without all the noise and fuss.

A aimé Location in Wiltshire was lovely, being close to the Westbury white horse and neighbouring towns, all again really nice. The field is easily accessible, with low levels of road noise. Nice field which is pretty level.

N'a pas aimé Sadly this is an example of a non regulated campsite, I will now never go to a “Pop up site again” . The site has only two toilets and there were over 12 pitches with a large group of over 20 turn up.

And then we had another group if 5 blikes turn up after 1.00am, which turned our nights camp into a nightmare. This was due to the group deciding to have a fire within 40 feet of our tent at 1.00am. We all don’t mind anyone having a good camping time, but when they’re drinking, talking, using a bong and talking at the top of there voice. This is when you see how a pop up site can ruin a holiday. Our safety was compromised due to the non regulated site, I say non regulated. But, basically the people who run the site, don’t bother to monitor and just take the money. Note: in the advert it states that: Quiet hours must be respected between 9:30 p.m. and 8 a.m lol, kids screaming and running around gone 11pm and a fire, (next to a hedge !!!!!!!) music and loud conversations past 2.00am.

A aimé Beautiful, simple site with lovely views. Toilets clean and with water and soap rather than just hand gel. Water points easy to access and even sinks for washing up if needed. Perfectly peaceful! Thanks for being in touch before we arrived and be willing to respond to any needs by phone etc - thankfully we didn’t need to pester you as all was easy to access!

A aimé This is a pop up campsite so verry basic, just some portaloos which are always a bit... but that is what we expected so 100% fine.
Loads of space, quiet, very clean field, nice people.
For us it was a stop over just for a night, it was ideal for us.

A aimé Absolutely loved our stay we added extras which were left at the reception for us the host was more than helpful friendly and the porta loos were cleaned daily would highly recommended and will definitely stay again 👍

A aimé Peace and quiet, space between pitches, easy to find, signage was excellent on arrival, voicemail message answered promptly as were texts. Excellent value for money.

N'a pas aimé Not a lot. Rudimentary washing facilities probably wouldn’t go amiss but these may come in time
