A aimé Spacious open field. Lovely views of Lundy. Good cliff top walks direct from campsite, not far from Hartland Quay. Very clean facilities. Plenty of hot water. Owners are friendly and relaxed

A aimé a warm welcome, special care for those walking the SW coast path. There's a lovely warm and dry lounge where you can make tea and coffee. Very good warm showers.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your review Jake, much appreciated. Just to let other campers know, the WiFi is tricky but we do have good phone signals which people manage to get by on. Good WiFi down at the pub though !!!

Réponse du gestionnaire : Many thanks for your review and glad you enjoyed the area. I agree it would be great if we could have the showers a little closer to site...maybe one day...fingers crossed ! The camp site used to be down near reception but we have expanded over the years.

The road surface in the park is awful.
The toilets and showers were not nice with lots of spiders.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Very sorry you didn't like it here. Just a few points...Country roads are generally narrower. The road surface in the park as you call it, are tracks. We are a rural working farm campsite. The fields are used as grazing fields for sheep in the Winter. Our cleanliness is excellent but spiders do tend to appear when Autumn approaches.
I suggest in future you seek out regimented holiday parks.

A aimé Huge pitches. Not too close to neighbours. Views. Site shop has re-opened after being closed for a couple of seasons. Great staff. Colin can’t do enough for you even though he promised he was retiring last year!

N'a pas aimé Gents showers could do with some modernisation and a bit longer with the push button water supply. I understand saving water but 6/7 seconds isn’t really long enough without having to hit the button again.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you Alan, good to see you again. It was nice to have the shop open again after our various health issues. Hope to expand it next year too. Yes totally agree we need to alter the timers etc. Colin has semi retired. Our tenancy ended and our son, wife and daughters have moved in and taken over with our landlords son, so all change ! Colin will continue to help out and run the farm...got to keep out of mischief somehow...😂

A aimé Colin and his wife were really welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us. Our tent had ripped due to the wind and they had lent us a caravan they had spare for the rest of our stay. It was very clean and very well looked after. The views were amazing and also the regulars were very helpful and kind. Highly recommend staying here. I’m sure my girlfriend and I will be returning at some point.

A aimé Loved the views , staff so so friendly and helpful , pitches massive loads of room , toilets spotless had a really lovely stay here so relaxing , watching the sunset on the hill was absolutely perfect never seen a view like it thank you for a lovely stay
